no doubt youve been there guys. youve seen a girl around and you briefly introduced yourself and you say 'hey [her name]' and she admits sheepishly 'im sorry i forgot your name haha'

or even worse she clals you by the wrong name.

what would you say to her?

Don't say her name until she uses yours in conversation, unless you're pretty sure she'll remember. This will save you a ton of trouble.

If she forgets your name, let her go. Just laugh, and make an excuse, and leave. She'll get the message.

Her forgetting your name is a pretty big sign of disrespect or disinterest, and neither one should be tolerated.

Are you serious? That is ridiculous. It's not a sign of disrespect or disinterest. If she met him just once and forgot his name, that's normal! People have their own lives and sh!t to deal with, it's very easy to forget the name of somebody you talked to ONCE and briefly. I forget names all the time, it has nothing to do with me not being interested in the girl or not wanting to hook up with her, but rather with the fact that I've got too much on my plate at the moment.

I like to next a girl as much as the next guy, but that is by far one of the dumber reasons to do it. You gotta relax man.

THANK YOU! What is it with guys wearing their egos on their sleeve??!!! Do you realize that a woman forgetting your name could be used as a HUGE opening for a neg hit or C/F routine?

Her:'im sorry i forgot your name haha'
Him:Oh here we go again, why is it always the cute ones that have the shortest attention span?

OR

Her:'im sorry i forgot your name haha'
Him:Alright, since I think you're kinda cute I'm going to help you out... Say 'Fran-cis-co.'
Her: 'Francisco.'
Him:Again
Her: 'Francisco.'
Him: (Taking her hand) Again, but slower...
Her:'Fran-cis-co.'
Him: (Looking into her eyes) Again.
Her:'Fran-cis-co.'
Him: One more time..
Her:'Fran-cis-co.'
Him: (Turns to his buds or her friends who are watching and gives them a sly wink)

Now guys, do you think she AND her friends will remember your name now? Think about the opportunities that you've missed because you let your ego get the best of you and you fall into AFC mode...

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

lol, no big deal. Just correct her. Girls forget my name all the time (doesnt mean they are not keen), and I forget theirs also. Infact the girl I was most into out of my entire life, I didnt even know her name for 2 weeks and I spoke to her every day. Doesnt mean nada!

Not necessarily wearing the ego on my sleeve.

It's more or less a screening method to only keep the very high interest chicks on board, because I tend to cycle through women pretty quickly, and get bored with most of them quick. I think I use it more as a disqualifier than anything.

I see, but like MindOverMatter said, it's normal. My guess is that 7 out of 10 people you meet genually have a problem remembering names. Yes, it could be used as a disqualifyer but one can easily end up missing out on meeting someone interesting for a common mistake.

I agree with that - especially if it's over drinks, which impairs your memory a good deal. I find it easier to match faces rather than names, which most others do. I just have to dig deep to find disqualifiers sometimes.
