Senior Don Juan
I hung out with a great cute girl, talked for an hour or so. Had a boyfriend, but when I accidentally brought up wine she asked if I liked to drink and said that she can’t handle/control it well or something like that. I took it literally, didn’t think of it. Had invited her to eat before that, she had also said she was busy. We had very good chemistry.
In hindsight, I realise this could be one of those affect based things women do, and that she wanted an excuse to sidestep from her boyfriend. So, if that’s the case, an obvious come-on that was missed.
Second thought though, is that I doubt I would/should have acted on it anyway, and that might be why I didn’t — my reasoning is internalised. If she cheats like that, what trouble can’t that get me in? I’d also say it would be pathetic behaviour from me, not a good investment, but perhaps that’s silly and I should be more direct/primitive for poon.
How do you reason and how shall one handle these things?
