Well, it's not quite a girl at work..but there is basically a group of us that all started grad jobs with different companies but got farmed out to them through the same recruitment scheme. So we are not at the same place of work, but we will be seeing each other once a month or so at networking events, plus the group of us new starters has to organize a charity night.
There's a couple of girls in the group that I am interested in. This is a new field to me and I am wondering if it is possible to go about ****ing one of them without making it awkward if my advances are rejected.
So far all prior meetings have been work related but last night I get a message from HB9 asking if I am available to meet up on friday for food and to plan the event and then to party in town after (As part of a group, not 1 on 1). I reply saying something like 'Yea I think I'm free and if I get not better offers I'll be there!'. She then followed up asking was I up for the drinks in town after (again, there'll be a group of us, but good she wanted to clarify). Idk if this is and IOI cos she's a 9 and just a friendly girl, but the optimist in me is thinking to go for it. She then sent me her number and told me to message her so she could text me the times closer to the event.
A cool thing about this group is its mainly girls and in all prior meetings I've held frame and lead the group as I have felt confident in the business setting when I'm suited up.
So.. how to proceed?
Is there a way to do this in a manner that won't make it awkward because I can't really think of one ..(playfully suggest just me and her meeting to 'plan the charity event', could work.
or is it better to to just read the signs and be bold, ie try flirt with her, maybe kino?
Also, there's a few decent HB's in the group and IDK whether to go for the 9 or the 7.
Thoughts?
