girlfriend is becoming quite afc lol

she has been what you guys would consider an afc if it applies to girls.

she tells me a lot that I am everything that she has ever wanted in a guy, and starts listing reasons and qualities why she thinks that I am so much better than every other guy. she talks about how she has never felt about any other guy the way she feels about me, and she tells me this a lot.

It is definately very sweet. She's such a cute girl... I don't really know how to respond to this, tho! like... what can I say when she says this stuff? I feel the same... but I am sure I shouldnt just straight up tell her...

so what should I say?

Don't say anything if you don't really feel it. If you feel the need to tell her you like her a lot and everything, do it, but never top her. Show her you like her and all but leave her with the feeling she cares more about you, than you do about her so she'll always have to keep working..

known her: 5 months?

talk to her: pretty much... like 4 hours a day for real via internet/text

hang out: weekends + random weekdays every once in a while

I pretty much feel like I've known her forever.

And why can't you tell her? The idea is to never show her too much affection. Since the type of guy this website attracts tend to always show WAY too much affection way too fast, the rule gets butchered and becomes 'never show affection' - but this is as damaging as showing too much. When she says "You are great and wonderful and amazing and no guy has ever made me feel this way and I think I'm falling for you" then you're not going to lower her interest by saying "hey I think you're pretty cool too." You'll actually raise it by reciprocating her feelings.

I agree with Brother. You should tell her she's cute and stuff like that once in a while, just don't overdo it. Don't become a romeo wanna-be and get her chocolate and flowers all the time (she'll get spoiled, and fat).
