Long story short,

Met a girl at a bar and everything was great.

We made out, had interesting conversation, got along well, couldn't bang b/c of logistics... (maybe I should have escalated a little bit faster)

But.... we had held hands that night plus she asked me for my number when she had to leave.

I made a date with this girl close to my house three days after getting her number. Kept the convo short and sweet. Texting only to set up dates - as per sosuave says...

Now comes the day of the date, an hour past our agreed time and she said she "fell asleep, maybe not today".

I'm going to write her off, but what do you guys normally do in that situation?

Would you text her back, "Oh maybe next time" or go completely ghost?

To you!

Are you sure she wasn't rejecting you?

I don't give my number out without getting the girl's number.

Good job.

Your princess is in another castle. She fell asleep on another man's dik! That's what she did. Even worse, she's trying to frame things for you to chase her like a desperate man.

I'm going to write her off, but what do you guys normally do in that situation?

If she didn't counteroffer, write her off.

Would you text her back, "Oh maybe next time" or go completely ghost?

Go ghost. She's not interested in you anyway.
Read between the lines. You are hereby given an order of Nolle Prosequi. It means do not follow. Not even on Twitter. Not even on Instagram. Not even on Facebook.

A woman has high interest when she SHOWS THE F**K UP AND DOESN'T FLAKE!!!

Case closed.

In my experience women that make out with you in a club aren't interested in any sort of relationship or anything after for that matter.

Club women are another thing.

I must admit though you do find rare gems in clubs/lounges.

Nolle Prosequi haha. Sounds like low interest level. She flaked on you without a legit reason (I fell asleep is bullsh*t). She did not say something along the lines of "can we get together maybe Saturday". This is a lost cause unfortunately. Maybe if you go ghost she'll contact you. But at this point you shouldn't care if she does or doesn't, because she has not respected you or your time by texting an hour after your agreed date with a B.S. excuse. She is a self important twit that isn't worth your time. You can do better. Next her.

Agreed with Sam here. I've made out and gotten countless numbers from club sluts and they lead to no where. With clubs you need to bang them that night, most are looking for a ONS. You didn't give it to her so she found someone else to.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I can't believe these chicks pull this ****, and that anyone does anyhting BUT tell them this. I mean seriously, she had no interest. Chicks that have interest are excited, nervous, and spend the day getting ready. She fell asleep????

She is a lost cause. Tell her GFY, and move on.

I don't know do you think that's giving your power away?

Yeah, she's a lost cause, but that just makes me want to have some fun with it.

You could write back something like:

"Ah, thanks, I accidentally double-booked myself... that coulda been embarrassing!"
"Phew!"
"So, who's here with me now?"
"Lucky you, I haven't slept in two days."
"Who's this?"
"Sounds good"

Who the f*ck knows if she was into you. I'm not going to sit here and try to guess what's going on in her mind.

One thing I do know - this is out of your control. And the only move here is to move on to other plates. She flaked on you, the ball is in her court, move on.

That's all. Thinking about anything else is irrelevant.

you only give a flake a second chance if her excuse/text of flaking contains 3 things:
1- Legit excuse
2- Apologize
3- Counteroffer

other than that write her off and move on other plates!

Absolutely do not respond to her. What she did was very very rude and disrespectful. She does not deserve another ounce of energy from you.

I am curious. You said she got back to you an hour after you were supposed to meet. Did you actually go to the place you were supposed to meet? Did you text or call her when she wasn't there?

Please respond.

What's happened here is that your interest is way higher than hers. Even though her interest was probably very high in the moment you met and she got caught up in it all, maybe that's all she wanted.

You can be attracted to someone, enjoy a make out session, flirting or a one night stand with them, but at the same time consider them totally unsuitable for dating or anything longer term.

The problem is that many guys have a fun experience with a woman and instead of appreciating it for what it was, they start looking for it to lead somewhere, start building up their hopes, wanting to recapture the experience.

Right now, you should just recognise she's had second thoughts about taking it further and let it go. No response, no questions, no mind games, just acceptance.

When you can do this, you can learn to appreciate these experiences a lot more and you will probably find that you have more of them. And when you least expect it, you just happen to click with someone on a regular or even long term basis. It just happens naturally.

This is how you have to treat pick ups, especially in bars or clubs. Just enjoy it for what it is and if it goes nowhere, move on to the next experience.

THIS. THIS AND THIS. Man, I wish I had known this a little while ago. Listen to him. He knows what he's talking about.

EDIT: I am editing this because I have reached my post limit, and to respond to LandingWood. First of all, Hyper analyze, how would telling a girl to stop wasting your time, and not to contact you again be giving YOUR power away??YOU never had any power with her to begin with!!!!!!! You set up a date, and she decided to sleep instead, and just "let you know" when you texted her when she was one hour late. How much disrespect are you willing to tolerate? FFS. When my GF and I had our first date, she told me later she spent the whole day being nervous and getting ready. THIS is how they act when they are interested. Landing wood, you suggested he not send the text I suggested. You are 18 years old. Please, please tell me what he would have to lose by telling her off? She "might not go out with him?" She isn't now!!! Guys, you have to learn to have some self-respect for God's sake.

Mauser: I like you, you know that. But your advice here is WAAAAAAY over the top.

Your support to your point is focused in the wrong direction.

Girls are going to flake. It happens & its part of the game. Do some girls flake because they have low interest? Of course. Do other girls flake as part of the game to see if the guy will chase? Definitely.

Point being when two people barely know each other, you could make your head spin trying to figure out why she flaked. In this particular case I would agree that the girl's reason was weak at best & showed a lack of regard for the OP time, esp since she didn't let him know in advance.

But its clear she's a party girl, the OP goal should simply be to smash it and have her as a FB at best.

Getting THAT angry and sending the text you suggested shows weak frame, over-reacting and most importantly implies that her flaking really got inside his head.

The better way to approach this because the OP should realize this is part of the game ESPECIALLY with girls you meet while drunk at a bar, is to not be affected at all.

A simple text back of "alright cool" then going ghost for a while would be best. Remember the goal here is get his junk wet, not gf or wive this girl.

There's two major problems I see here on Sosuave.

1) Guys chasing girls who have low/no interest

2) On the flip side, guys giving up way too easily at the first obstacle that comes there way because Sosuave has conditioned them to think a) all girls are evil/crazy/two-timing slvts b) if she flakes she's out

When you have an abundance mentality, a girl flaking doesn't mean she's cut completely (unless she habitually starts flaking). It SHOULD mean she goes to the end of your rotation and you are actively going out meet new prospects.

OP: Best way to go about this IMO is to stay cool, send a short reply "alright cool." Then disappear for 7-10 days and then initiate again, then set up another time to hang out. If she agrees great, if she doesn't then she was never planning on meeting up with you after the original night anyways.

DJ's don't over-react, they always stay cool. This is just part of the game and once you realize that, the better off you'll be. If it happens to you with different girls all the time, then figure out where your going wrong and adjust that to get better results.

That's why I asked if saying that would give my power away. To be all fair if I had sent a text saying something like "F**K OFF you wasted my time, etc.", I think that's too over the top and taking the scenario too far.

Okay fine. She flakes. No big deal. I move on. I don't need people telling me I f**king wasn't good enough at the club to make her instantly open her legs on command.
