i find explaining to women WHY, they are upset sometimes help.
Understanding is the first step to dealing with a problem.
ahh sheit, i guess i better explain this.
Ok, so if a girl is upset that her parents found booze, she obviously has a FEAR of her parents disapproval. Most people need people of authority to tell them what is right and what is not right. And their approval of what they've done correctly. (teachers, parents, etc..) This is our way of rationalizing a lot of questionable situations. However, sometimes when we do things against authoritative figures we must rationalize on our own why we did the things we've done. rationalizing why, and coming to an understaning of situations we've found ourselves in is a very good way of dealing with it.
Of course these people need to be strong individuals themselves, however naive they are.
ask her, "why did you have booze in your room?"
"cause i wanted to drink it"
"is drinking ok?"
"yes."
"then what does it matter what your parents think?"
"it doesn't in this situation, all they ask is that they respect their rules of the home."
"therefore it wasn't that it was bad. that made her mad, it is that she upset her parents."
