girl in my class...need input

Anyways we had to take a trip to me museum downtown last thursday, she mentions to me that she dosen't want to drive all the way downtown and does not know the area very well she was obviously giving me the go-ahead to take her out for the night.

So we drive down there and while walking a block or so to the museum it was raining so i pulled out the umbrella and she links arms with me and walks reallly close to me, obviously flirting and such. So afterwards I take her out to dinner and she mentions to me during our conversation that she does not have a boyfriend.... so we get back to the car and she gives her phone number, i tell her i dont have mine memorized yet because i just moved and havent gotten a cell yet. So i tell her i'll call her on the next day to give her my number, after that she kinda just looks at me all strange like she wants to get a kiss or something....ordinarilly id jump at the oppurtunity but i was exausted from a stressfull day at school, plus i was driving my new car (jeep grand cherokee) so i wasnt comfortable leaning all the way over this huge ass console seperating the 2 front seats, yeah i know i made a mistake here, shoulda gotten it while the gettin was good.

I call her friday, give her my number and explain to her that I was busy this weekend so I told her id just see her in class monday. So i goto class monday and after class she comes up to me and tells me.....oh yes this is a ****in GEM here:

"i dont mean to blow you off or anything, i had a really good time with you thursday night but im with someone right now"

any hope to salvage this one or should i just move on? I was starting to dig this girl before the bs that happed today(monday) after class. I just dont get it.

You had an opportunity to prove otherwise by playing through that boyfriend thing with some c+F but it sounds like you didn't.

got class with her again tommorow, im really into this girl and dont have any other prospects on the horizon, i dont give up easilly. but im not about to waste my time.....anything i can do to salvage this thing or should I just move on?

I have to disagree with you Walden. I don't think her interest level had built up enough and maybe she started to sense that he was becoming increasingly attracted to her as the day went on.


Only mistake I really see that you made was telling her when you would call her. That's a big NO-NO!! Don't be predicatable. I know you told her you were busy this weekend which was good, but you NEVER EVER EVER tell a girl when your going to call her.

I think she's either a ****-tease or she's trying to guage your interest level. Keep up the C/F and act like you really don't give a shiznit about her. Flirt with other girls in the class, ugly or hot and she'll get jealous. Keep on working the game bro you can EASILY bag her up. Remember girls like anticipation and the build up of the chase. They like baby steps, not meet-kiss-marry. Go get her
