What's up SS. I know I haven't been on this site in forever but this girl has me twisted, and im looking for a second opinion on the matter:

Long story short, after a small amount of texts exchanged back and forth for a few weeks (and a freeze out or two). HB8 randomly txted me one day with intentions of me asking her out. I did, and we arranged to grab lunch after a final exam. She brought her two friends along as well, one of which Ive met before. These two girls are pretty much her family (she is an exchange student) so I suppose they we're brought along to seek approval.

Before we left, they both showed me pictures of their families and stuff like that. It was pretty heavy stuff. They told me that they valued and loved their family. She also talked about kids and how its not uncommon to have about 8+ siblings. Sh!t almost scared me off :woo:.

Eventually we headed off to grab a bite. Now, I thought i did a pretty good job of engaging everyone in convo and keeping up the fun and moral, made em laugh, didn't talk about myself unless asked or anything like that. Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant to make heavy kino but I did some arm stuff with the girl in question, and fist bumps with her friends. Also, during lunch she brought up stuff about looking for 'the one' and said I was beautiful. Being the corny mofo I am I said she was too and everyone 'aaaawwd.'

Blah blah, we finally get back and I drop them off at campus. I try to be smooth and say we should do this again, they all agree, then I drive off. I feel that I should have isolated and ended stronger then I did. I dunno, I guess I was too hesitant with her friends around. B!tch behavior I know, but Ive never been in this situation before, let alone with a group of Arabic girls... but overall I thought I did pretty well and came off alright to her friends. I just hope I didn't come off as a sexual android to her.

So yeah, fast forward 3 days. I text her with a little light ribbing about the events that transpired at lunch a few days ago, and see if she wanted to hang out at a social gathering this weekend.

No response.

Looking back, I shoulda just said "What's up?". Inviting her out again only 3 days after we just hung out is a little suspect/clingy. Thank God it was direct and to the point.

So fast forward to now. 3 days after I sent that txt she hasn't responded and I don't know what to do. The semester is over so I don't see her in person anymore. She's always been good with getting back with me, even when she can't make it. Not this time though. What do you guys suggest? Maybe I fvcked up royally somehow..or worse, got myself in the friend zone. Maybe im over analyzing and should just text her again in a few days...

Most of the time I know when I fvck up and don't expect to get txt'd back, but this time I thought everything went pretty well (at least, I think) then this sh!t happens.

Advice?

first of all don't over think it

second, for me personally, i've ran into girls in school that--once the semester is over; you're dead to them. they hang out and text and stuff when they actually have to see you, but once the semester ends, it's game over

not saying that's what this girl is doing, but it happens

i had the displeasure of knowing a cold hearted chick who used to do that. one day her, me, and her friend were in the library studying for finals, and they were talking about some dude that her friend was no longer going to text once school ended. so i said "but wont it be weird if/when he sees you next semester after you spent the entire summer ignoring his texts?", the girl i knew responded with "it's only weird if he makes it weird"

that's when i realized how cold a woman could be. actually helped unplug me from the matrix

uhh are you trying to date her or her and her friends? She was disrespectful into bringing her friends to that "date". You must communicate to her that you are trying to hang out with her and only her.

Because she brought her friends you were already put in friendzone.

It's really not THAT clingy. Setting up Date#2 while currently on Date#1 would be clingy. Not asking a girl out 3 days later.

If you were in the friend zone, she'd at least text you back.

Maybe im over analyzing and should just text her again in a few days...
You texted her 3 days after the date, and then 3 days after the previous text. Do you seriously think another text is the solution here? Take a deep breath and think about this logically...

The date didn't work out. She's not interested. Find someone new.

You didn't f*ck up. It's just that things didn't work out. It happens...

Oh yeah, and my advice: Do NOT do group dates. Meeting a girl for a date....AND 2 of her friends? This isn't 8th grade, buddy. A real woman with real intention of dating you will meet you one-on-one. Not with 2 of her friends like some kind of high school girl.

Yeah I wasnt keen on the group thing either. Honestly, if she were a white girl or something I would have known I was in the Friend Zone to begin with and would have called her out on it then and there. This girl, however, is very reserved and shy. Essentially I am the first person who's really gone out of there way to talk to her and her friends. Or that's what they told me. They don't speak the language well and just moved to the states last semester, so that stops people from trying to get to know them.

Therefore, things like her inviting her friends along get a pass from me. Ordinarily I would say "hell no" but in this specific situation I can see where she's coming from. Not knowing the area and going somewhere with a new guy, its comfortable for her to bring her bfs around. Like I said, normally its a no. But this was an exception.

So dial back with the 8th grade stuff. Just because im asking for advice doesn't make me a kind incompetent noob who's never gone out before, Iceberg. So don't get me wrong because I respect where you're coming from.

Correction, I only txted her 3 days after the date about the social gathering. Not another time after that. My bad about the grammar.

But you're right, if I text her again and she doesn't hit me back she probably isnt interested anymore and I suppose that's why I'm procrastinating about it and asking for advice.

Sounds to me like you did absolutely fine considering what you had to work with. You got shanghaied with the two friends so what could you do? It sounds like she just wanted to have fun, and I guarantee that you were thoroughly talked about before the date. They predicted you would do this and that and wanted to see what would happen. You were also thoroughly talked about afterwards.

But you are the man, and YOU are the judge, not them. I personally would judge her as totally unworthy and be glad to be rid of her.

Charge it to the game and forget about her. Know that each experience that you have changes you for the better. I think you handled it all pretty well. Now get out there and keep at it. You're on the right track.

You definitely had a lucky escape mate. I was praying it ended badly after reading that.

Sounds like maybe you were friendzoned already without realising it, maybe she was seeing if any of her friends would like you?

Move on buddy. And do some push ups :D that always makes me feel better.
