Girl-friends that block you!?

Girl I hang out with, long story short. She used to try to lock me down at happy hour when I wanted to mingle with the other office girls. Changed jobs, we still hang out every once in a while. I have made passes at her since then and she never bites. But totally tries to block me from hooking up with her friends or any other girls for that matter.

To me a woman that does not want to bang you, or you banging anyone else is just a waste of time and to be nexted. But i'm looking for some insight to this issue, maybe i'm missing something here... thoughts?

she hangs out with you for the positive attention you give her. if you still like her and want to hang out with her, you will need to use a wing man to distract her. preferably hook her up with someone to get her off you. the only other option is to not hang out with her at all. if she's not helping you, she's hurting you. if you had a guy friend that lowered your chances for getting laid you wouldnt hang out with him while your trying to pick up girls right?

Maybe try being a little more direct with your intentions? I mean if she's not feeling it, she's not feeling it though. Although she may have no romantic interest in you whatsoever right now, sounds like she wants to keep you around as an orbiter or dangle you around like a yo-yo in case she changes her mind or has a change of heart. She wants to keep you for herself tho and lay claim on you, hence the blocking of her friends and other girls. Might be wise to try and go no contact for a while and go try and hit on another group of girls because A. you could end up talking to a girl you like more then this chick B. you could tell new girl to meet you out and "accidently" bump into old girl to gauge her reaction, might force her to cut the bs and stop the games if she really does have a thing for you or C. don't invite her out with you if all she's doing is blocking.

This is very typical behavior for a certain subset of women. A woman like that is not interested in your romantically but wants to keep you as her infatuated little orbiter..it's a huge ego boost for her. Such women are toxic and should be avoided at all costs.
