girl friend...good or bad thing?

I have a friend of mine that is a girl, im not interested in her or anything like that, though she is pretty hot and a big flirt. were pretty good friends though but like recently she always talks to me about this guy she likes and is jsut like droning on and on about him, when i coudl really care less. i dont wanna be like.....eff you i dont wanna hear your problems though and like lose a good friendship. If its a friend....would any of you guys tolerate this?

She's pretty hot and a big flirt, and you are not interested. WHo the FK are you fooling??? You're most likely jealous that you are not the guy that she's taking about, or better yet that your not the guy that ANY girl is talking about to her platonic friend.

BTW I use to be that lame guy with the hot female friend, and boy did I try to fool myself that "she's just my friend." Even when I write female and just friend I feel my **** shrink and my voice transform into a gay lisp.

Friend or more. You should not be a shoulder to cry on, when SHE wants you to be. Comfort her, but only as much as you have to, then get out. Let her bludge to her female friends. When I say comfort her as much as you have to, I mean cheer her up and make her forget about him, while she's around you. Make her laugh, etc.
