So I recently read an article about female body language, and how women will flick their hair or "groom" themselves when in the presence of a man that they feel some attraction to.

What do you guys think of this? I swear I see girls flicking their hair around me a lot lately, and it makes me feel like even more of an idiot for not talking to them.

Curious on your thoughts.

#2 is the concept of "mirroring" - is it fair to say that if a girl is mirroring you that they want something more? I recently was at a bar, the girl was a friend of a friend, was nodding her head to the music after I had started doing so ... but when I went to talk to her my game was piss-poor and nothing happened.

Thanks for reading.

i get this sometimes when i say hi to a girl for the first time or i'm passing one on the street, mall, somewhere in public. they usaully don't smile at me though so i don't know if it's "legit".

some lady did it to me earlier today. i was going to bank and she was conducting some kind of survey. i agreed and noticed she did 'le flip' as i approached to get the clipboard. probably didn't mean anything though, you can never really tell.

Depends on the situation. If you always look for the hair flick, after a while you can tell when it is a legitimate IOI and when it is a false alarm.

Women WILL hair flick when they feel sexual attraction. It's been proven. They will also run their hands through their hair. From what I have seen in the past that is a huge IOI.

That being said, they will also play with their hair as a nervous habit or because their hair is in their eyes. One time I noticed a beautiful girl who couldn't stop flicking her hair when she was talking to me at the bar. However, I watched her after we were finished talking and she continued to flick her hair - in front of other guys, when talking to her girlfriends, when ordering a drink, etc.

You have to gauge how and when it is done, but always be on the lookout for it. It can be a very valuable IOI and I have seen this first hand. :D

yes girls have their greasy hands in their hair often, that's what makes it deceptive imo, especially somewhere like university.

You are probably just over-analyzing. Body language should never be interpreted by itself or out of context. It is true, that when a woman plays with her hair it is a sign of sexual attraction if she is engaged in a conversation with someone she fancies, but out of context she could just as easily just be playing with her hair because she likes to play with her hair.
