GF: Some other guy asked me out what should I tell him?

Some chick I've been seeing dropped this on me last night: Some other guy asked me out what should I tell him? And the more I think of her asking me that and putting me on the spot it pisses me off. I told her yes it would get to me but for some reason I feel I should have rephrased the response differently. What do you think?

When I talk to her today I'm going to tell her that her bringing that up like that pissed me of and to quit playin games.

I don't think you need to be that pissed. I thought this was a common way for girls to find out what the status of the relationship is if they're hoping for the next level. But I could be wrong.

Poster, if you act all pissy then she's gonna read that as "he's a wuss". If you're confident enough to say that it doesn't bother you that she stays or goes then she gets wet. Simple, right?

I can see your point there, but I hate the fvckin games and I now realize she probably would never have even gone out with the guy or thought twice about it and that she just brought it up to get my reaction. It just pisses me off when she does hit like that to put me on the spot and I don't have an answer.

Shes testing you don't play her game. If she goes you know that shes not as into you as you thought she was. Treat her accordingly. If she doesnt go ask her why she didn't.

My girl does that all the time. I always tell her, "Hey you ought to go. You might have a good time."

My reasoning is that if I ever meet a chick that is hotter, nicer, etc... and I go out with her once or twice, my girl can't be upset. She get's asked out all the time!

We're (at least I'm) not all that serious...just keeping options open...
