gf says im to overprotective enough???

my gf was mad at me the other day because she said i act like i dont care and theres nothing wrong when she talks about guys hitting on her..she said i act like i dont care

i said i dont wanna be overprotective and she said she likes whena guy is opverprotective because it shows that he really cares about her..but i always push it aside and act like i dont care..


any advice?

You mean "gf doesn't feel protected when she's with me". If you are overprotective, there is no "enough" after it. It's like saying "gf thinks I'm not overbearing enough". Doesn't make any sense.

Advice? Man up and get in there when other guys are hitting on her. Are you her manly boyfriend or a coworker? Imagine girls hitting on you and your gf said she didn't care and always pushed it aside. Would you think she really liked you and would do anything for you? Or would you think she didn't care because she wanted to let another guy in her pants?

yea,, but me being overprotective is punching someone in his face..and my gf says thats unattractive so i dont kno what to do..

Keep doing whatever you are doing. She probably knows that if push came to shove you would actually do something about a guy who was being inappropriate, so I wouldn't worry about it. She's just being a typical girl and whining.

Is this the same women that used your phone to text other guys? If this is the case, I would run from this women, sounds like not only is she a drama queen but she has some deep issues.

Regardless if he trusts her or not, this type of a response will shut her up because she won't be able to to hit him with a comeback on the spot. Any other argument by her and illmatic can say " so does that mean I am wrong? I can't trust you?!" which will focus the blame back on her.

illmatic does seem to post here alot about his girl problems which in the bigger picture is a telltelling sign that this relationship has run its course. Think of it like the hoover dam, lets say all of the sudden cracks start to appear on the dam's wall, he may be able to patch the cracks on the wall but every day the cracks grow bigger and bigger until the dam finally breaks open and burst. If I were him, I wouldn't stick around when it does but get the hell out of there much sooner.
