This isn't cosmetic; I have a tightness condition down there that makes sex semi-painful (it's mostly discomfort, though).

Did anyone on here have the operation after infancy? I'd like to know what I'll be going through in the couple of weeks following the operation. I'm assuming I'll at least be sitting down slowly for 2 weeks.

WOW! That sounds scary. I guess it's one of those procedures best done when one is a baby. I did read somewhere in the bible about a grown man who was asked to get circumsized by another guy in other to marry his sister. The other guy went and did the circumsition and died later. Not to scare you but there are many reasons why he might have died. It could be because they weren't as advanced in medicine and technology as we are today. I've never heard of an adult male getting circumsized besides that story I don't know anything else.

Have you considered all the other alternatives? I've heard you can stretch it, use some creams to help soften the skin, or the doctor can just make a small incision instead of chopping the whole thing off.

Other than that I don't really have any advice except that I've heard it feels like pissing razorblades for the first two weeks...

Good luck I guess.

He did mention the creams, but he said that I was tight enough that it would most likely not do a whole lot of good. gah. Hopefully it'll be over quickly enough...

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

done!

All I can say is yeoooooow. It's the day after and I'm pretty uncomfortable (not in pain anymore, though).

I was under for the initial operation (thank god) but I had to go into the ER later that day to get a particularly angry area re-stitched (they numbed me, but this time I was fully aware of what was going on).

Everything's fine now, I'm just a little sensitive.

Just out of curiosity, do they give you something to prevent erections? I don't imagine the stiches stretching if you get hard would be the least bit pleasant.

I've heard guys say that getting rid of foreskin makes sex less pleasurable. I've been circumsized since birth, so it's not like I'd know any different, but I would be curious to see if sex is much better with the foreskin, if I could.

I wish. Erections aren't as painful as you'd think, but they're still not very fun; talked with a female friend on the phone last night and it was all I could do to stay limp. In about two weeks I should be just about back to normal.

I recently got circumcised a few months ago. The first 3 weeks or so will probably be painful. No sex, throbbing whenever you have an erection (and you will have erections because you can't touch yourself) and no masturbation. It'll heal pretty quickly though, chances of infection and death are also pretty much non-existent with today's technology. It is a very simple surgical procedure. I did mine for surgical reasons and quite frankly i think it was worth the temporary pain and money.

Even if this is true, I'd just end up making me cvm too soon. I cvm about the right time as it is. I don't need more stimulation.

I do wish I'd read up a bit more on this before I had it done, but I actually like it better this way...can't really explain why. (Might just be novelty, though, like when you get a new car and you're used to it after a month.)

But yeah, healing very quickly. Had a coffee date last night to see if I could handle arousal this early, and I did fine. (Went well, too.)

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

In the Bible getting circumsized is a sin and a jewish myth.

But, for the guy wanting to get his d!ck circumsized. What do you mean it is semi painful with intercourse? If there is no need for this operation. You are fine.

To the guy who asked about what I meant...

Got laid for the first time a few months ago, and I couldn't concentrate during sex due to the discomfort (it was semi-cancelled out by the pleasure of the sex, but I still couldn't get comfortable). Afterward, my foreskin would be painful to the point where my **** would hurt for a while (and don't blame it on rough sex...since this was the first relationship I'd had in which sex WAS present, the humping wasn't particularly rough).

It would literally have trouble going back up over the head after a session and I'd need to baby it for a minute or so before it would go back over. I'd also be unable to retract it in the shower (depending on the day it would either go back somewhat or not go back at all without pain).

Masturbation was also like standing on the edge of a cliff...I couldn't pump the foreskin too hard, or it would go too far back and I'd yelp in pain.

Clear now? :)

I'm still looking
Mascara all you needed to do is stretch 2-3 times a day and you can retract revealing your whole head in less than a month. I was in the same boat as you. I had phimosis so bad I can only retract my head enough to reveal the piss hole. Took some time (and some pain too) but now I was able to reveal my whole head. The hardest part though was for me to desensitize my head so it wasn't painful to the touch. You should have done some hardcore strecthing before getting your hood cut off.

Can they not just adjust the skin? Kinda snip it back somehow?

I too had a tight foreskin but after I ripped it a couple of times its sorted itself out. You often hear stories of people who had the op only to feel that its been bad for their sex lives. It does de sensitize you

I feel I have the best of both worlds now. Uncircumcised means I am more sensitive while the tight foreskin means I dont come too quickly

I've heard of this before but never understood how it happens. Did you guys never play with yourself growing up?

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.
