NOTHING! as many people here are so thoughtfully explained...here's there proof in the pudding: a girl i know just gave her number to 2 different guys in the past couple days and she promptly explained that "i would never, ever date either one of them, but i gave them my number". she was making fun of the one dude b/c he was stuttering and sh*t when he was going for the # close...

that is messed up, but that's what happened, and i believe that is what happens more often than we like to imagine.
