getting a girls number and not calling -- bad move ??

Please Advise on this:

If you take a girls number and she gives it to you. But you never called it ( from anxiety or whatever)

Does that ruin your chances with her?


I Had this experience in the past, where tihs girl gave me her number , I never called it and 2 weeks later I ran into her again and said we should met up to which she said, " WHY didn' t you call me...?" After that point, the whole relationship turned sour. I think it shows weakness from anxiety of not calling...Sometimes you 've just got to get it done no matter what

I am in a similar situation now. I got a differents girls number a few days ago, and I haven't called her yet . I will see her tuesday, but before that should I call her???

imo if you know you are going to see her again, calling her or arranging to call her is redundant. If, however, you tell her you are going to call, then don't call and lastly act nervous around her because you didnt call i think you mess yourself up

Why do you take a girls number? Is it to be her phone buddy and talk for hours? If that's what you think then :kick:

The whole point of getting a phone number is so that you can call her, arrange a date for you two to meet up and thats it.

Personally I hate talking on the phone. I much rather talk to a person face to face.

BTW, this point applies to the period of time after you recently get her number.

Bad move? That's really your call. Did you want to get intimate with this chick? If yes, then sure maybe a mistake. If no, then why even get the number?

Either way, not calling a girl after you get her number isn't the end of the world. If she was attracted to you enough to give you her number, I'm sure she's understanding enough to meet up even though you didn't call her the first time. It even possibly has her wondering a little bit why you didn't call. It's really your call.
