if you maintain a 3.25 GPA, which is just a B+, you'll get an extra 4k per year of "TEACH" loans. So you'll get 17k per year, plus the Pell grant covers your 5k per year of actual college expenses. In one year, Jan to Jan, you can lay your hands on 26k of cash, if you go at it right. You only have to get "c's" in half time classes to keep the 12k per year coming in.

Then you'll get no more loans until August of the next year. If you don't start in Jan, you won't get loans-grants for the following summer semester. When the spring semester ends, in May, you will have 3 months to go to Asia and find your nurse/dentist/MD, etc. You can get food stamps, and make 4k selling blood plasma ($60 per week for the 17 months). You can live for that 17 months on 10k, by living in the van, eating at the churches and missions, and have 20k in the bank, with which to go get your nurse.

Do NOT settle for one who's not FLUENT in English and who can't pass the CA nursing exam, guys. Shes' got be be able to start pulling down at least 50k per year, the next month after she arrives here. You'll spend 10k meeting/her getting her here, so you want HER college loan money, along with a big chunk of her salary. She won't have to repay the loans if she continues as a nurse for her career. So it's free money. This is a HELLUVA good deal for her, so you'll find plenty of RN's who'll go for it, but try to find one who you really like and who like's you, or it will still be miserable for both of you.

Meet a trustworthy vet. give him a job as your 'go-fer", so that he can get a VA home loan. no closing costs, no down payment required. Get a big old house and start renting out weekly rooms. There's 100-150k per year in that deal, gross pay, of course. But you can clear 30k per year with that building, while going to college half time at night. In a year, you can get another such building, and manage both, if they are not too far apart. You'll have to kick down a free room and a bit of money to your "old" vet to manage the old house, while you develope and learn the new place. You won't have the free time to continue college, but you won't need the college, either. You'll be pulling down 60k per year.

she'll divorce you, most likely, once she's a US citizen (5 years or so) So it would be best if you've got an agreement with her about it, in advance. Or LEAVE the first building loan in the vet's name and own the second one thru a Nevada corp, without your wife knowing anything about it. If you break the rules about how to handle this, you'll be sorry! but it's a way to start with nothing (other than a GED, which your city will train you to pass, for free). you can be set for life, guys, using your school loans, if you go at it with intelligence and discipline.

Plenty of ways to game the system. Just be sure you don't break any laws, or piss anybody off that can hurt you.

Or you can go to med school like me and make high 6 figures as a surgeon. Or be an engineer like many of my friends and make 80k out of undergraduate.

Instead your system consists of a multi year plan longer than the medical school path

1)(5 years waiting for her to be a citizen (and pass nursing school, and nursing exams), at least 1 year in a school program you aren't going to continue, 17 months living and eating like a hobo (while also giving away your nutrients via weekly plasma donations lol), 3 months minimum to find your girl, however long it takes you to arrange your real estate deals, etc.

2) You have no concept of finances. That TEACH loan you took out your first year becomes a UNSUBSIDIZED loan, whose interest is calculated from the month you took out the loan. Guess what is happening over the years as you try to act out your plan? You guessed it! You are amounting debt to your name.

"She won't have to repay the loans if she continues as a nurse for her career. So it's free money." I don't think you understand how college loans work.

3) You have 3 months to woo a fluent English speaking and smart foreign women, and convince her to jump into your batsh!t retarded plan. (Not to mention if you ever get the house to your name, or even the cash, she can divorce rape you for the property, or all of the money you make from it). I'm sure the agreement you made with her in advance will keep her quiet, since she has never shown any gold digging qualities like marrying a man for citizenship and good living am I right?

Then you have to find a veteran that is trust worthy somehow. I'm sure he will be stupid enough to take the free room and little money you are offering, and not just running off with the property that is in his name. Also please tell me what type of house will net you 100-150k in rent money per year. Please post an example, along with an accurate market price with links. Thanks. A house big enough or in an area that nice, will fetch more WAYY more than $600,000. Which happens to be the maximum amount your dumb trusty worthy veteran can even borrow

http://www.military.com/money/va-loans/home-purchase/va-loan-limits-for-high-cost-counties.html

Military only gives 625,000 and only to the most expensive counties in the united states. Your veteran also has to show proof of income that he can pay monthly mortgage payments and support his family. So to clarify you need a dumb, trust worthy, veteran who has good income. (Which is not likely as you are kicking him back a room and some money so he can jump aboard your ill-thought out plan).

4) So after all your improbable and convoluted steps, you are in debt, your home can be repossessed at any time by either your soon to be ex-wife, or the veteran whose name the loan is under and after all those years you are finally clearing $60k with no free time (your words "You won't have the free time to continue college")

Your plan requires more time, money and effort than mine of going to medical school. Your plan somehow takes more time than becoming a doctor, and your loans will also be much, much more.

Tell us more wise financial guru! How can we game the system more?

know very well how college loans work, having used them to the MAX. I never said that her teach loans would be forgiven. They WILL, IF she teaches. I never said put her thru nursing school. I said said to marry one who IS already a nurse. How could she hope to pass the exam if she's not. My way, you can be retired in 3-4 years, right out of high school. You'd still be in premed. by the time you're actually a surgeon, you'll have 1/4 million in debt and have put in at least years of higher ed. See, EYE don't leave out the part about going to Guatamala and doing free surgeries, so you can gain experience without getting sued for malpractice.

if you try to become a dr, it will take you 2 years of work as a doc just to pay off your student loans. So it's going to take you 12 years, minimum, to make a dime after finishing high school. Do it my way and in 12 years, after high school, you'll have CLEARED 1/2 million $. If you keep investing your surplus (ie, clear say, 20k on each apt building per year, use that to get another such building) you can be worth well over a million $, at age 30. Whereas the MD is still BROKE. :) You can't take bankruptcy on student loans, but you sure can on a VA loan. So any of the old houses that develope a problem, you can walk away from. That's why you don't want to pay any more than you have to on the VA loans. if you COULD get an "interest only" mortgage on such properties, that would be the way to do it.

So tell us AGAIN, moron, how 12 years of school and being broke is the same thing as 12 years and having a million+$. :) ANYWHERE along that 12 years, you could have a physical, mental, emotional, legal, marital problem that ends your career as an MD before it ever got going. Very little can keep you from doing what I've recommended here.
