A big component to female attraction is the desire to seek genetic variety - someone who has a different genetic makeup to their own.
This in my opinion is why women are drawn to exploring new places with a mix of people - nightclubs, holidays etc and are more likely to sleep with a man on holiday…or have a one night stand with a man from a different race but put men from her own race in the ‘relationship’ category

the RP community makes everything about ‘being alpha’ when there are many components to female attraction - her ovulation period, pheromones, desire for comfort and social acceptance, and attraction to exotic/foreign genes

it’s really a numbers game

I think women generally want to have children with men who look similar to them but are masculine. Take a look at LTR couples and you will notice this trend. They share a lot of similarities outside of the obvious difference in gender. I think that is the only "genetic" argument that can really be made.

The ONS argument is a completely separate component of female nature altogether IMO. That is more about thrill-seeking and being animalistic, which resonates with women. And also why women cheat. The cheating satisfies this thrill-seeking that they are no longer getting in their LTR.

Me and my gf noticed this the other day while walking in the park. We were baffled by the fact that the majority of couples walking could pass as siblings.

There is a genetic and psychological component to both sides of this.

Genetic: I don't believe women evolved to seek mates that are different from them per se. The ultimate goal is strong and superior (subjective) genes that guarantee their offspring survival and dominance within their environment (tribe, community, society, and civilization). I also think they probably seek a mate that shares their lineage (this is rapidly changing as the world comes "closer" with technology (cellphones, airplanes, computers). But genetically speaking, diversity can offer evolution and subsequently stronger/better genes. Therefore in this sense, diversity is ideal.

Psychological: Mating in general tends to lean towards familiarity and uniformity. Someone that shares their interests, hobbies, lifestyle, passions, goals, values, etc. This ultimately means someone who will most likely look or potentially look like them. But this does not guarantee expansion and growth, so in this sense psychologically people with higher levels of consciousness will seek someone who will challenge them and encourage growth. This is referred to as "opposites attract".

The reason why so many LTR couples look alike is due to human nature and also a construct. Sort of like pets look like their owners. When you spend so much time with someone, I think both genetically and psychologically humans will end up in "unison" for lack of a better term.
