i am 16 yesrs old, and weight 145 lb, i am currantly trying to gain muscle mass. how much do i have to lift inorder to get the most optimum resutls

Aim for a weight that is comfortable for you. As you build strength you will find it doesn't tax you any more then you just increase the weight.

I'm 6'4 and 220lbs and I'm only training with a maximum of 50lbs dumbells and a 100lbs barbell. I'm lifting a lot less weight than many guys, but I've been seeing some rapid muscle growth so I'm in no rush to increase the weight.

It's not how much you can lift, it's the exercises you do. Stick with heavy compound exercises. Like deadlifts, squats, bench presses, military presses, etc... Aim for 4-8 reps 8-12 i you are just starting out.

Make sure you follow the diet in DIESELs guide, workout and diet is like yin and yang.
