Gaining Weight during Track?

I'm in the middle of Track right now, and I losing weight fast. Is their any way that I can gain weight during track (not fat). But one problem is that I have a broken hand so I can't lift weights when it comes to grabing stuff with my hands.
So anyone out their have any advice for my problem?

You can gain weight during track just like you can gain weight if your in the off-season and not doing any track. If you're doing track you're just gonna have to eat more calories (especially good carbohydrates); you need to eat more calories than you burn in order to gain weight. However if you cant lift stuff with your hand that poses a big problem...how long will it take your hand to heal?

Its has been about 8 weeks, so it will be on for about 2-3 more weeks...

Well you wont lose too much weight (muscle) in 2-3 weeks. I suggest you just get on a proper weightlifting routine (which is very good for track anyways...I mean theres a reason why almost all top notch sprinters are muscular) and eat properly soon as your hand is alright again. Nutrition is the key; especially in your case. You burn more calories than you eat, because of track and thats why you're losing weight. You should do some reading up in order to find out how to work out and eat right to gain muscle.

u gotta eat a lot more than u usually do. i used to do track as well and had the same problem when it came to losing weight.
