Yup, I do the match.com thingie. It's got me one date, in like 4 months!! However i get plenty of winks every week, new ones. So i give it a day and e-mail the chick that winked. Keep the mail simple and try to set up an online chat with them. Usually, most of the e-mails dont even get a response. URGGGHHH


ANy suggestions on this would be great.

Give up on it.

The problem with online dating is that people look at a photo and profile and build up a fantasy impression in their mind, which they can quite literally fall in love with. Unfortunately, nobody can match upto this in real life and it nearly always ends in disappointment sooner or later.

Not to mention the time wasted in pursuing like that...

Keep in mind (and this is not directed towards you) that if a chick is on a dating site there is a reason for it...

Whether that be she a "psycho"...."desperate" or whatever. It is not worth your time or effort to pursue that...

Some form of social network is still the best way. But it depends on your age. At an older age, online dating is less flaky (at least for me) because the girls are older and more serious. If you're still in college, then online match is just unneccessary.

Two of my good buddies (ages 35 and 40) got on match.com and hook up (read: fcuk or 3rd base) with a different girl about every week.

My suggestion to you is to take some pics of yourself using camera angles that bring out your best.
