So my friends have met my girlfriend only one time and it was in a club. This first night was basically the second night I hung out with her, so even then I barely knew her. But we're at a club/bar setting and people make jokes all the time. So the next day my friends said they don't like her because she was very ****y (said something along the lines that her university was better than theirs)....which it true. And also she was saying something how her father is rich...she's a little (inin chinese....zi lien) narcissistic at times but then again being a foreigner in China, so am I. I'm a teacher at my friend's university and even I think it's ****ty. A friend of mine was tired and she told him he can go back to school and sleep (in a joking manner) and he was butt hurt over it.

The other day is our friend's birthday and my girlfriend is visiting for a week and I want to take her to the girl's birthday dinner but these two boys who don't like her didn't want her coming. I need to talk to them more, maybe there are more reasons. I'm still learning about the Chinese culture, but as a guy I just think they're butt hurt for no good reason.

Maybe they're jealous I was spending time with her last week and not them. They also didn't like my ex girlfriend, but after we broke up one of my friends and my ex are good friends now. I doubt he wants to **** her, but I don't understand. When we were together he told me to leave her, now he's telling me I should get back with her. Also these boys are only 19/20 so they have little experience with girls.

Knowing the nature of this board, they're gonna give you responses with a straight out of the textbook mindset; leave her, bros over hoes, etc.

If they were good friends, they would at least respect her. I didn't like my bestfriend's ex-girlfriend either, I wasn't doing anything to sabotage the relationship though.

Your friends have identified that she is ****y, and you yourself agree. This is obviously a negative.

Investigate further and try to find any red flags.

Right now, this matter is pending investigation and no conclusion can be reached.

Girls from the mainland are notorious - it's tough to find a high quality girl because so many of the girls are manipulative - that's why I am telling you to stay vigilant.

First of all, why are you bringing a new girl around your friends on your "second date"?

Ignore your friends.

If "****y" is a reason to NOT date someone, then they are definitely dating material.

The problem, we as men at younger ages, is that we are highly suggestive. If our friends tell us they don't like someone we're dating, we'll start to see all those negatives in that person, even if they really aren't there.

This is EXACTLY why I wait a LONG ASS time before I bring anyone around my friends. By then, I will have had a chance to formulate my own opinion about said person, so as to know whether my friends were full of crap or not if they said anything.

Only once were my friends right about an ex, and only because it was glaringly obvious. Other than that, they are human and prone to make mistakes when it comes to judging people and their character.

Let me ask you this: Are all of you friends single?

And last but not least: Do you really care that much about what your friends think? After all, it is your life, and you're the one dating her, not them.

1) I don't see how being ****y is a negative, I like ****y girls and those that have a bit of attitude.

2) If I was dating a girl who all my friends hated (I'm not a million miles away from that exact situation right now actually) then I'd pretty much ignore it. If she makes you happy, who cares what your friends think?

You might want to be mindful of negatives they raise, but dumping a girl because your friends don't like her doesn't seem smart either.

If a person is being offensive...call them out. WTF. I wouldn't like your gf either if she said that crap to me.

Take her somewhere, and show the ho whats up.

You need to put everybodys azz in their place, start with this chick tell her drop that attitude and dont be disrespectful to your bros you wont stand for it (but of course you stick up for her because your friends should accept when somebody says their education = sh1t).

2nd, tell your bros stop being so butthurt and if the girl was talking crazy they should have fired back instead of being a lil bish.

Call everybody out set things in order and keep things moving.

And most of all dont be a little phaggot bringing this chick around your friends when you know they dont get along...now you wana bring her to a bday party? Dude does she have to come? No. You should be smashing that ass an going out for drinks an events like that with this chick no need to bring her ass around your friends period.
