Friend talking/appologizing after 3 months of ice

So basically a friend of mine of a couple years started flaking out constantly with me 4 months ago, likely due to her boyfriend. I was only in town for a few months (I go to university about 4 hours away now) and she and I both made plans several times to get together but she flaked every time. Usually it wouldn't take me this long but since she was a semi-long friend (we weren't THAT good of friends though) I literally told her "have a nice life".

Anyways 3 months later after absolutely 0 contact I get this on msn:

to be honest I didn't really expect this and I was actually a little drunk at the time otherwise I probably would've given her a harder time and busted her a bit more. But basically I'm thinkin of tellin her she should take me out to dinner, but make sure it's somewhere classy etc. etc. and then seein how the night goes and possibly makin a move since she's only down for a while. I don't really want/think a relationship is possible but she's definitely a 9-9.5 worth a ONS. And I can pretty much gather from all this that she is single now.

Anywho, any thoughts?

this is the only advice u should look into considering and if u dont understand my advice thne i would readvise the dj bible.. read it and understand th concept. u cant just expect us to give u an advie and force u to understand it. u have to apply it yourself and if you hare having trouble understanding it at least make an effort urself and read the bible. we will then help you guide through it and make sure u are on the right step

you are not applying your knowleadge.. what have you learn from the bible?

use what u have learned, trust me dude.. asking here for advice may get u a step forward but how about the steps after that? how about actually gettin the girl in bed? how about 2 years down the road? we cant be here for you..

This might sound weird, but if things don't shape up with a girl, I usually wait about two months with no contact, and then get in touch again. Sometimes it has surprising results!

One girl, who I found out later had a long term live-in bf the entire time, rejected me the first time I tried, but 3 months later went on 6 dates with me.

Another girl totally ignored me, but since she was so hot I gave her another chance 3 months later. I played my cards so well, I ended up being invited up to her apartment. Turned out she had just been dumped by her girlfriend... good timing! Not that I did anything with her (too stubbornly a coward). But still!

Another time, I went on a few dates with a girl, but she started being bogus and ignoring me (again because I was too stubbornly chicken to make a move on her, but still). After a year, she apologized and we went on three boring ass dates.

There's a saying, Work hard but give the universe room to work too. Sometimes for various reasons a thang can't happen at one moment. Wait a bit, play your hand again, and, amazingly, sometimes it works out. Women appreciate your persistance and patience. They also learned that when they don't cooperate you leave. An important lesson for every woman!!!

Go for this chick, but obviously, be a bit more cautious than usual. Not much, just a bit. Sometimes the first time isn't the right time.

Dude, I know you're trying to seem ****y and funny, and to challenge her and all. But you sound like an idiot. Tone that corny crap down 24 notches.

C/F and challenging should be used sparingly, IF EVER at first!! I was once like you, every statement was a challenge or an arrogant "joke" - it was not funny, it was not ****y, it was not a challenge. It was annoying.

I know you don't know quite what this means yet, but I'll say it anyway. Be yourself.
