I hope this isn't inappropriate for this forum; if so, please accept my apologies!

I happened across the Community through a friend of mine who I coached in college, back before either of us had any idea that that's what we were doing. He was a math nerd at the timne and had absolutely no game to speak of. For me, however, it seemed to come natural. In any event, he would call me for advice on dates; I also took him shopping, critiqued his game when we were out, etc.

Fast-forward ten years; I'm now living in New York City and am at the top of my game; my friend is a math professor at a large state school. Over the past ten years he went from his experiences with me to being involved heavily in the community, to pulling back and nuancing his own style now that he's got the basics down. (He just wrote to tell me he closed with a stripper!)

For the past year he's been trying to convince me to be a coach--he says I'm a lot better at this stuff than most of the guys he meets--and I'm ready to give it a shot.

The problem is, I have no idea where to advertise, nor am I savvy enough about the Community to know where to start. Which is where we may be able to help each other. What I need is your word-of-mouth advertising, a reference, and access to advertising opportunities I may not know about in exchange for two free coaching sessions. Although I have only coached informally in the past, I am totally confident that, if we decide it's a good match, I'll be able to do for you what I did for my math friend.

My emphasis would be "Natural Game," which is what I do best. I avoid gimmicks, and I've also got excellent body language (or so my friend tells me) and am very fashion-savvy.

Please email me at alexmarcus at gmail dot com if you're interested, and thanks for reading!
