Here's a little story and I am asking for a little help on how to proceed:
I went to a local coffee shop today and scoped the place out, looking for the place with the most women. I saw a room with three women sitting a table studying, so I thought that was the place to go, opened the door and walked in.
Me: "Hey, is this a private study room today?"
Them: "Oh no, but it is an all-girls only room"
Me: "Damn, that's the second one today."
They all laughed and I sat down. I made eye contact with them while I saw writing in my book and then I decided to throw the Maury Povich opener their way (You got invited out of the blue to be on the Maury Povich show and you want their opinion on whether you should go on or not).
They ate it up and starting talking amongst themselves about whether they would do it or not and when their friend walked in (another HB), they asked me to tell her the story too. I busted on them for making fun of me, but they said it would be amazing to know someone on that show.
I catch some strong eye contact from one of the girls, so I talk for a few minutes longer and I get back to my writing. Near the end of my time there, I opened them again, with a pros and cons list I made about it (fake of course) and they ate that up too.
Me: "Pro, it could be a woman who has a crush on me. Con, it could be a man."
Them: "Hahaha. That could be a problem."
Eventually they all said I should do it, if I am up for a new experience. So I stood up and told them: "Hey, I am making an e-mail list so I can send out a mass e-mail when I decide, so put your e-mails down so I can add you."
Them: "Ok...that sounds great!"
Two of the girls put their names on the list, passing it amongst themselves, the third doesn't, because she was deeply involved in studying. I shook all their hands and walked out, with them still talking about the situation. **I figured an e-mail close was the best option in that situation**
Question is this: Would you contact the main HB who was giving you the most eye contact and develop a rapport with her, or would you send an e-mail to both girls since you got their e-mail addresses?
**Let it be known that the main HB was the biggest voice in the group, laughing at all the jokes, saying the most about the situation and asking the most questions**
I am thinking I am going to e-mail the main HB tomorrow and ask for her number and try to set up a date. If she asks what my decision was, I am going to say I accepted it and when the time comes near, I am going to say the other person backed out.
But what say ye? How do I proceed?
