Gents,
Had what I thought was a great interaction with a girl who I met at a club on Saturday night last week. She's the photographer for the most popular club in my city, and approached my group of friends to take a picture. I've got some experience of taking photos for club websites, so I took her to one side and teased her about her photos being rubbish. I made fun of her accent, teased her for being a perv and taking nude photos, and generally had a good time. I then went round the club with her and her camera helping take pictures, introducing her as my little sister/ my fiancée/ my new co-worker who doesn't know what she's doing etc. She was lapping it up, giving me the "fuvk me" eyes, hitting me in shock, squeezing my hand etc.
I then went back to my friends, got her number, and asked her to come and find me when she had taken enough photos. She did as bidden, and came to say goodbye as she was leaving the club with her friend (an UG2), who had been following us around all this time. It was immediately obvious that I was not going to be able to separate the girl from her friend, so I decided to go with them to build comfort/ get the friend's approval.
We sat down on a bench and talked for 20 mins or so before the girls took a taxi home. I made a point of ignoring my target and focussing almost exclusively on her friend. This seemed to work: I got the friend laughing and telling me her life story, and every now and then the original girl would chip in and compete for my attention and comment how "she had done ... too."
Fastforward two days and I hit up the photography girl with a text referring back to a joke we'd made. She responded enthusiastically. I then asked her to meet me at a party on Tuesday (which was awesome, btw). She said she was busy, but asked if I was going to any more parties in the near future. I've now invited her to a party on Friday. Almost 24 hours have passed and I haven't heard from her.
Any comments on the above interaction would be great. I've got numerous other girls in my sights, but it confuses (and, if I'm honest, frustrates) me that a girl who initially showed so much promise hasn't got back to me.
