Everyday there is something new to learn. Today was pretty dead, did not see many targets, and non of my approaches really hooked. I did learn a few things from some of the approaches i did.
1. Girl standing by bus stop: I ask "does this bus go to brooklyn?" She said she doesnt know and that she's hasnt been in nyc for that long. I say "yea i notice you have an australian accent" she tells me shes from Japan. I say konichiwa as i tap her arm and left. I shouldnt have. But this was my first set so I was not very warmed up.There are a dozen ways I could've transitioned. So im still kicking myself over this one. Oh well
2. HB7 by steps of grand central. I ask her if she knows wheres Starbucks, she says it might be downstairs but not sure. I tell her shes must not be from around here. She says no. I didnt feel interest from her so i bounced. I only stay when girls respond with more than 1 word answers. I have to find a way to make longer convo with girls who seem to be on the fence.
Im focusing on approaching sets that I feel very uncomfortable with, such as walking sets and seated 2 sets, just to get myself more comfortable with discomfort.
