Recently moved to a new city, started a dance class. There's this HB7 in there who immediately showed high IL, so after the second class I grabbed her number, saying 'maybe we can grab a drink this weekend,' to which she promptly replied: "Yeah well there's this coffee shop I like to go to..." I didn't respond to that.
So a few days later I text her to say what's up, and she immediately responds and offers to meet at this coffee shop. I thought about suggesting drinks instead (I don't even like coffee), but decided to play it her way.
I get to the spot, few minutes late, she's freaking sitting there studying. This got me all kinds of worried, but I went and got my disgusting coffee, and turns out she wouldn't be drinking any...no complaints there.
Luckily she puts the books away, and we chatted for maybe 30 minutes, her across the table from me. Things were getting stale, so I suggested we walk somewhere touristy that she had yet to visit (teased her about being a bad tourist). Well, turns out this walk was WAY longer than I thought it would be...maybe almost an hour at our slow pace. Too much talking, I struggled to keep the conversation up, oh well. We get there, talk a bit more, and then I decide it's time to head back, so I walk her home.
Pulled her in for a hug, then as she's pulling back, I kinda held her there (this felt kind of awkward and forced), then went in for the kiss, seemed to be received well. No heavy make-out, but she seemed into it. So we'll see what happens from here.
Probably should have been more physical contact throughout (she actually initiated that first), and I wish it hadn't drawn out so long, but I guess overall it went pretty well.
