I'm convinced my stops get hunted and hit. Everybody seems to believe that the yield difference between "practice" accounts and live is simply psychological, but I have a strong suspicion that stops are electronically hunted and hit when real money is involved. The only way I make money on Forex is for longer-term trades with extremely wide stops & TPs (as they're called at Oanda), but then the risk becomes much greater.

Stop hunting. I have seen it before. I have compared charts with different providers for the same time and they were different! :kick:

Well today I went to the same guy again for a service call. He was player live and without robots on M5 cent account. With $500 USD deposit he made $120 in just a couple of hour I was there.......

That's freaking awesome. $100 a day is plenty for me. I want to learn forex.

It's controversial but have you ever considered trading without stops?

Its basically betting small and riding it out until it hits your profit.

He was either making very large position size bets or he was using very high leverage or both (ie - high risk)

He could have easily lost $120 in just a couple hours taking such risks or lost his whole account of $500 etc.

The reason he was taking such high risks is because he was only using a $500 account. If he were trading significant money, $500,000 for example, his returns would have been much less because he would have had money that actually mattered and would have had to lower his risky bets..
