My forearms are the only things I am really content on building right now. I am a pretty skinny dude. I am about 1 pound shy of 140 lbs and I'm about 6'0. Yeah, I'm pretty skinny, but I feel like my bi/tri-ceps arent really that horrible. They're average, not huge... but I honestly thing the thing that makes me look tiny is my forearm and wrist size. I have finally come to the realization that my wrists will never get bigger.. due to ****ty genetics and my bone structure... but I figure if I increase my forearm size I wont look like a weakling anymore. So what are the best exercises for forearms? It's really the only area I am lacking in right now. And my chest too. Chest exercises would be nice. I have an incredible lower body strength, but my upper body is just pathetic.. I've only been weight lifting for about 2 weeks now though. But I just got a weights class at my school, and plan to stick with it all year long.

what makes you look small is that you're tiny. bench for your chest, rows & deadlift for your back. ignore your forearms for now, they'll grow with the rest of you. read the a-unit collection, listed here http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=126233 (4th list down). I can guarantee you that at 140 lbs. you don't really have what qualifies as "incredible lower body strength" (don't worry, many skinflints your size are under this mistaken impression).

Even with forearms you'll STILL look like a weakling. forearms wont cover up the fact that you are 140lbs at 6' which is SKINNY. You wont magically gain 5lbs on your forearms.

Lower body strength or not, you're only 140lbs. YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR WHOLE PHYSIQUE. Work on forearms alone and you will conquer nothing.

Take the advice given to you above.

Add Hammer Curls, and Reverse Curls on your arm days.
Once you get used to it, add wrist curls, and reverse wrist curls at the end. You don't need that many sets after that.

The thing is, when skinny guys (myself included) look at themselves and try to think about what makes them look skinny, the first thing that often pops into their mind is biceps. Is it your small arms that make you look small and skinny? No, it's *everything*. You look skinny because you are precisely that. It's your chest, arms, back width, back thickness, legs, shoulders and traps. Pretty much everything. Therefore to not look skinny anymore you have to not be skinny anymore.

So get yourself on a solid weight training routine and gain some muscle mass :)
