As I watched that show last night, I figured that the guy would probably pick the more of a challenging chick.. I know there has been debate about that. But the other one was way to AFC in my opinion but I give her the most credit for being true to her heart and not coming off as a goldiggger. I feel sorry for her but heck, she';; proly pose for playboy or land a million dollar book deal. Sigh...
Plus, I think other one was prettier in a model sort of way. First of all, I honestly can't believe a show like this is on the air and that people lincluding myself would watch. I was more horrified than anything else.

And now they are going to have the girl who won, play another 15 dudes... She seems like a gold digging man eater to me. I think she even played that other poor chumpette some.

And it turns out that the guy has a tarnished past. Eek. I dunno. There was nothing DJ about him at all and I think that if he had told the chick who won that he didn't want her, she might still be pining after him.

Now it seems she might get 2 mil. I am tho, embarassed to say that I am curious to see just how and if these other guys will fall for her. I think she is one of those gold digger hot chicks who thinks she can get any man on the planet. She is Hot, I'll give her that.

Sigh, what is the world coming to. I mean just how far are we going to take reality shows..

ANd can't they pick a guy with normal looking hair. I mean first Joe and now this one. They have this wierd funky hair do and slick it back.

On the same ridiculous note, I saw that paradise hotel show. And the best part was this real ugly dude dave, who was just perpetually clowned by the show and audience. The interesting part was that they attacked his personality, when the other guys on the show were about as moronic and base as it comes.

I'm waiting for the new one "Average Joe". Basically a really hot chick has to pick from a bunch of ugly fat-a.ss average guys.

Either some DJing will happen or the AFC meter will go off the scale.

The woman that won isn't hot. I think the one that came in third was probably the best out of the remaining three. The girl that came in second lost because of her age, which she acted, and the fact that she was to clingy.

The winner won because she wasn't interested. This guy was so full of himself that he couldn't believe she was wasn't into him. I can't believe this moron was a lawyer. He should have picked the one that would pick him, then split the check and be on his way.

I'm almost sure that the guy picked who he did because she was hotter, plain and simple. Forget the challenge crap, just the whole premise of the show was basically no challenge required. I would have made the same choice because the younger girl was sort of ugly IMO. I know that sounds shallow, but in these shows, thinking you're going to find a deep meaningful relationship is just a total joke. It's a game show played with people's emotions, that's it. You play to win, and that's what the girl did. You'd be an idiot and pretty AFC to turn down the money for the guy in such a situation.

There was this one blonde girl who was voted off earlier who was supposedly this guy's perfect match. She should have made it to the end, because she was probably the hottest, but she was also a little older than the rest.

Yeah, she was the best in my opinion. She was a personal trainer with a perfect body. She had a good face, she just looked a little older than the rest. I think the one that won is kind of old looking.

The hairstyle you are complaining about is very chic and is commonly sported by classy models. Unfortunately, most men can't wear it because of receding hairline and/or hair color. Dark hair is almost a requirement for it.

If you read fashion magazines, you will invariably find this hairstyle. :)

Well I am not sure what age you qualify as old but as far as hair styles, I am very chic and I don't care what the men magazines say. Both Joe Mil and this dude had retarded hair styles that look nothing like the magazines. Just a lot of whipity dooo.

I actually was making a bit of a joke with that comment. But still, they both have funky hair. I mean doesn't anyone find it funny.

More importantly, I wonder if as DJ's you would have also gone for the challenge. Heck, none of you would have been on the show in the first place. This whole reality thing is a bit much. Now they even have big brother 4! Scary!!!

But thanks. I actually find the whole thing funny. Haven't watched tv much lately and amazed at what is popular. Seriously.

I agree with the comments about the women mostly. But Paige with the DWI and clingy attitude seemed a bit wacko. Looked more like 13 than 21. Dunno.

And the winner in my opinion a real gold digger but not like she actually knows the guy. Now it seems she is going to get her own show and again, proly a spread in Playboy. Boy oh boy....

The whole thing makes me chuckle but not sure in a good way.

:D :D :D

PS Agree totally, this guy is no lawyer. Certainly, wouldn't want him to defend me anytime soon. He should have split the check. But chances are he will also get a spread but in "playgirl" and let's not forget a book deal and Larry King. Sigh.

I agree that this boy's hairstyle, as well as Joe Millionaire's hair, were totally whack.

I think the problem with this guy is that his hair did not really fall backwards the way he combed it. He was essentially combing against the grain. I have hair that doesn't comb backwards really well; you need to comb it a certain degree forward in order to get the hair to look normal.

I don't know about other guys, but I want to vouch for myself that I never liked a challenging girl. I think it boils down to whether the girl you like is attracted to you at the same time. If that happens, then forget challenge, who needs it.

On the other hand, many instances where the girl and guy don't always see each other the same way (which I would guess is the majority of the time?) leads to the one that is less interested being a "challenge" and as a result, the fact that the person who is chasing the one who is less interested gives the illusion that they're interested in the girl because she's a challenge. I've posted a past thread about this before, but I guess it's another one of those topics worth discussing again.

For example, if I don't like a girl, but she likes me, I will become the "challenge" by default, and the mere fact she will be pursuing me will make it seem like she likes the challenge. The question then becomes whether she would just become disinterested if I showed that I was interested in her too. In my view, it's not going to make her suddenly become disinterested in me, but I guess that's the way I see things.

I don't know where women get some of their silly dating ideas, but if they visited sites like this with an open mind, the war of the sexes might just end.

Most guys I know don't want women to be much of a challenge. Women are the ones who want men to be a challenge !!! That's why they go apesh!t over bad boys and guys who seem to not give a sh!t. These men are the ultimate challenge.

Most of us guys are just looking to get laid in the easiest, most efficient manner possible. Sure some AFCs will go to great lengths and be very persistant with a woman who has no interest in them. But, any guy who understands women and sexuality won't waste his time with such women. Especially if he embraces his own sexuality.

Why?

Because he wants to get laid as often and as good as possible. Women who are too much of a challenge are too much work for the man to meet this goal. A true Don Juan may go after a woman who is a challenge, but he will never pursue her alone. To do so, would be to forfeit his sexuality and self-control. SO, this DJ will pursue other women for sex while he pursues this challenging woman for the sheer thrill and exhilaration.

Someone once said that for women, getting laid is a choice. For men, it's a chore.

In that statement lies the idea behind why men don't want a challenge nearly as much as women.

Clint Eastwood, good insight.

I think that even putting the sex aside, even looking for an LTR, the whole challenge thing is still somewhat of a myth, since not all guys just chase after girls who play hard to get. It gets tiring, and it gets pretty stupid after a while, and enough is enough.

I think girls need to get this stuff out of their heads. The only reason why a guy isn't attracted to you is because you're not attractive to him. Period. If you play a challenge, it only works against you when the other person already likes you. That's where the joke lies.

I agree that if more women visited this board, the war of the sexes might just come to an end once and for all.

Its funny how people say that hair isn't a big deal when you're losing it, but if you style it wierd you're the talk of the town  No wonder I'm still self-conscious about it.

I didn't happen to watch any of these shows, I don't watch a lot of television. That dude was pretty stupid to choose the girl though, if he was smart he would have realized that women practice these games from the time they are kids. He could have used his million dollars and fame to land just about any chick he wanted.
