Will doing my current 5 day split, working each muscle a day, be good for preparing for football? Or do i have to go with a football workout? Also, where can i find a good football workout routine? (i know some like cleans, and benches) But i want to know some routines football players use.

THANKS!

You're 15 and on a 5-day split. I think that needs addressing before you try to workout which exercises are best for football.

Location
The Cold North.
Your best option is bodyweight exercises. Chins, dips, pushups, squats, crunches.

To become a textbook blocker and tackler you need lower body strength. Go intense with squats and supplement it with calf raises. Strong calves will give you added balance to follow through on your blocks and tackles.

Hope that helps....

Individual bodypart training is for bodybuilders not athletes, so doing a 5 day split like you suggested isn't the best idea. As an athlete you want numerous muscle groups to work in unison, not in isolation, so a combination of muscle groups into a 2 day lower/upper split or into a 3 day push/pull/legs routine is a better idea.

Here is a good training program for footballers. It covers all parts of the conditioning required: http://www.defrancostraining.com/articles/archive/articles_westside2.htm

Read around the site as well, especially the ask joe section, it has some top quality information.
