i'm requesting someone to give me a basic idea of flirting. is it basically any conversation that's humorous of sexual, or is it broader? my problem is that unless there's drunkeness and making out the first time i meet a girl, it doesnt work. I'll go out on 2 or 3 or 4 "proper" dates, and all i do is sit there and make random conversation the whole time (actually a situation i'm in right now, we've gone out 4 times, still talk, and i think she still might be interested, but i've made no advances). How can i show interest and how can i make her show interest in me? i assume its flirting and now we've come full circle :) any pointers?

Hmm... Flirting? Well IMO flirting is when you are extra friendly. You have to gauge what kind of girl you're flirting with. If she's more open than others than by all means dive into interesting subjects and do neg-hits on her. If she's shy, then it takes more work and patience to open her up. Don't rush things, but take it slow. Ask her something you might think she's interested in, if she said she's not interested in that, ask why? and then ask what she's interested in.

Flirting is also a lot of kino. If you two are walking side by side, just bump slightly into her. Do it once in a while and if she's asking you what's wrong, just say you're admiring the stars or sky. Tell her to look up and enjoy the stars or sky and you two will be bumping around. There are many other types of kino you can do on the girl that's not aggressive.

Lastly, and most importantly is the eye contact. Just fvcking look into her eyes when you guys are talking. Looking into the eyes gives her a strong message that you're not afraid of her. Also it tells her that you like her enough by keeping the contact. You show interest by maintaining eye contact.

Other than that, it's just plain chemistry. Some girl just have that type of chemistry where she can get along with everyone, and there are those that aren't. Just work on it and slowly you will be able to adapt to different types of girls.

Lastly, go for the number after you first meet her. If you are already dating her, make a goal to increase her comfort level with you after every date. Patience is key with most girls. It seperates you from all the horny toads out there, but you have to know when to make your move before the water runs dry.

I think you put your finger on it by saying unless there is drunkeness or making out the first time you meet a girl, it doesn't work. This certainly seemed to be true when I was in late teens/early twenties, although it's a bit different in your thirties.

So you have to ask what is it about drunkeness and making out that helps? Obviously if there is making out that's a clear unequivocal sign you find each other physically attractive, and if you are (a little) drunk you will tend to be more friendly, more tactile, and generally more sexually forward.

If you apply this to a sober meeting, you may avoid being 'friendzoned' like it seems you are being at the moment. She will either respond to your flirtation, or reject it outright (the cue for you to next her).

So you need to step up the EC, Kino, C&F, and neg-hits if she's an 8+. Hope this helps.

In my opinion there are two kinds of flirting: verbal, and physical. Which kind you use all depends on the girl.

Here, I have two examples. With one girl, I use verbal flirting exclusively, because she is not very touchy-feely (although she and I are good friends and she has no problem touching me. In fact, if I didn't know better I'd think she liked me a lot). So, I say things to her about how hot she thinks I am, how bad she wants me, whatever. C&F, and she plays along, and we flirt easily. I make comments about how we can't make out because I'm sick, and even though we don't make out she agrees with me, then says that wouldn't stop her.

That's verbal flirting.

With another girl, I use mainly physical flirting. She gave me a high five once, and I said "I'd rather just slap your ass to say hello." So, now I slap her ass when I see her, and I'm not always the one who initiates it. Today she said hi to me, then said "oh, but that's not how we say hi," and turned to the side.

Those are the best examples I can think of.
