Flaxseed oil is good for alot of things. It can help keep your metabolism going strong, improve skin, improve cardiovascular health, as well as a number of other things. It's worth taking if you ask me....even just for general health maintenance.

If you are not getting enough fish in your diet - you can supplement the omega-3 fats with flax/fish oil. I'd rather just eat the friggin fish.

Yeah, flaxseed oil and fish oil do essentially the same things as its the omega3 fatty acids that provide the benefit. Alot of vegetarians use flaxseed oil. Fish oil, taken as softgel capsules, can really wreak havoc on your breath though. And you can taste that stuff sometimes.

There's ****loads of research that confirm omega 3 fatty acids are effective for a wide range of health issues ranging from skin problems to cardivascular problems to depression.

Ya the more omega acids the better. Most people get enough 6 and 9 from all the **** that they eat with fast food. Omega 3 is a little harder to get unless you eat fish or suppliment. Othe acids that do similar things: GLA and ALA.

Oh ya, many people can't convert flax seed oil into omega 3 so try other sources like borage oil.
