Hi I'm JT12. I'm kind of a fitness person and work out about 3-4 times a week. I'm not in Olympic shape but in way better than most and I smoke ciggs regularly(trying to stop just got the gum) and drink occasionally. Personally I'm a fan of doing calisthenics instead of weights but I do own a weighted vest. Ok heres what you'll need somewhere to do pull ups like from a good ledge you can grip with gloves or one of those 20-30 dollar door pull up bars from a sporting goods store. Heres my routine with a small sliver of my diet which changes everyday.

Day 1: Pull ups of all varieties (Close handed ones, wide and medium range), Then do close handed push ups aka diamond push ups or do dips off a chair or in a good area to hold your whole body weight like the corner of a deck and then do planks. Do not go crazy if you can do 1 pull up or not even one do something called negatives. Which is when you jump over the bar and lower yourself down and then repeat. So do pull ups, diamond pushs or dips and then planks.

Day 2: Run a mile or more.

Day 3: Do squats and lunges to work your legs and do crunches or butterfly kicks.

Day 4: Do day one again.

You can go ahead and take a break on day five and restart the routine or just go for a light jog or a walk.

Now I mainly have a diet of steak, chicken, fish, pasta, oranges, apples, bananas, ramens and nut mixes and milk.

First of all, if you smoke cigarettes regularly then you aren't in any position to talk about fitness.

I bet I can do more of those above listed exercises than you can and run further and faster than you.

I wouldn't hold that against him too much...there are guys I know that can run 10 to 12 miles and smoke cigs...still more than I've ever run.

Didn't mean to be an ass about that but he just came in and was like you can't give good fitness tips. I'm not the best in the world nor did I claim to be. Though I just like to talk about fitness and I'm in okay shape. I usually can do like ten pull ups in a set and thats without kicking my legs up and down or using my momentum, just slow and normal pull ups followed by dips or push ups. I can only run a mile or so and I usually do like 20 squats a set. I don't count sets I just go until failure and then I drink whey protein.
