Welcome to Fitch's Workout Journal.

The Stick:

Age: 16 Years Old.

Current Weight: 132.5 lbs.

Body Fat: Under 10%

Height: 5' 9''/10''

Four Pack

Meals: Six times per day with Protein Shakes to insure a protein rich diet.
6 cups of H20 daily

Supplements: Whey Protein, Creatine, and Multi-Vitamin.
I did not purchase Whey Protein, yet; for I do not know what to purchase.

I am financially disadvantaged, so please be reasonable. My fridge is virtually empty... My mother could purchase enough food for 6 meals per day, but I do not know what to get.

In the nearest future,

The Stone:

Weight: 160 lbs - 170 lbs

Six Pack

Body Fat: Under 10%

Gym Routine: I will follow the MAX-OT for now. If you guys know, or have a nice workout routine, pleae let me know.

I am a basketball player, and a swimmer. What workouts would help me excell in these sports?

The Journey Begins, today...

I'm tired of just BEING there. I am taking control of my life!

Good that you finally decided to begin! You seem to be around my stats when I bagan training!

If I were you I'd buy, oatmeal, cottage cheese, chicken, peanut butter, parboiled or brown rice, some nonwhite bread with no sugar added and well, tuna if you like it. Go get some mashed flax seeds too, they are cheap, like 2 bucks for a package of them.

A gym routine which have worked for me look like this:

Day 1: Legs (incl calves)+ shoulders
Day 2: rest
Day 3: Chest + biceps + forearms
Day 4: rest
Day 5: Back + triceps + abs

Maybe:

day 1
4 set of squats
4 set of Stiff leg deadlifts or romanian deadlifts
4 set standing calves raises 6-10 reps
3 set military presses
2 set bent over lateral raises

day 3
3 set of flat bench db or bb
3 set incline bench db or bb
2 set dips leaning forward (with weight if you can) no more than 10 reps
3 set of chin ups with close grip (with weight if you can) no more than 10 reps
2 set of curls with STRAIGHT bar, ez is useless
3 set static holds (no more than 10 seconds!)
2 set wrist curls 6-10 reps

Day 5

4 set Deadlifts
3 set barbell rows
3 set shrugs
3 set of JM presses or dips (max 10 reps for dips, otherwise add weight)
3 set Skull crushers
4-6 sets of ab exercises

All 4-6 reps unless other stated. Just a suggestion of a fairly decent workout program.

Getting stronger will probably help you in your other sports. You will run faster and swim faster since you can use more force.

gd luck with it man. you really do need to eat an absolute ****load to put on weight, especially if you have a fast metabolism like me.

to save yourself some money, i'd recommend eating mainly carbs in the morning, and carbs + protein after workouts until you go to bed.

also, buy peanuts. they help you top up your calories.

tbh, i wouldn't worry about the six pack just now, until you've started making some serious gains.

just now, i'm putting every ounce of strength into my gym workouts and eating 7 full meals a day, but since my metabolism kicks ass :D i don't put any fat on, and only put on muscle slowly.

believe me, and double, when we say that it really does take a sh!tload of effort. when i was dead skinny (9.5 stones - 60kg) i started eating as much as i possibly could, 2 litres of milk a day, 4 scoops of whey a day, and got the beginner gains i desperately needed.

anyways, i'm sure you'll manage mate. hows the studyin goin btw?

Good job on taking this on!

For training a lot depends on your body for how you should train. From your stats it seems as though your at best average genetics if not below. I love the iron addict, DC, Stuart McRobert philosophy of training which all stress long term strength gains . I recommend you read some here www.ironaddicts.com.

You mentioned your a bball player and swimmer Defranco's Modified WSB program for athletes maybe a good fit.

As for eating. Get a sams club or costco membership and read this post.

good luck

Great. My grades have improved, GPA increased, SAT scores rose, etc. Nonetheless, more work could and will be done!

Its all uphill!

And thank you Gav, Liftforce, and EFFORT for the advice. I will apply it! I'm going to have to push my mother to go food shopping. She was visiably upset with my decision to eat six meals a day, nonetheless she agreed to provide me with the food.

As for Whey protein, I do not have a clue as to what to purchase. Any recomondations?

This will be very tedious, but "Impossible is impossible." (- Fitch).

--------
By the way, the U.S. government created a new food pyramid. Check out www.mypyramid.gov to see your specific pyramid. It tells what one should eat, according to age, height, athletic activity, etc. What do you think? Critics argue that it's inaccurate.

Current Stats:

Body Fat: Under 10%

Body Weight: 139.5 lbs

Height: 5' 10''

I had to sacrifice my gym membership due to my financial situation. So, I stick to the fundamentals: Push-ups, Sit-ups, crunches, chin-ups, dips, and bicept curls; and an occasional jog.

no problem.

Whey protein: Go for the cheapest one that contain the most % protein. No need to purchase expensive brand protein, it comes from the same factory anyway. Chosing between concentrate and isolate is up to you

IMPORTANT!

Okay, thank you. I will post my accomplishments daily, starting from today.

I created an online journal. I am planning to create a subsection to it which will be specifically dedicated to "Fitch's Transition."

http://j-j-e.blogspot.com/ < --- is my general thread. I will create another blog (online journal) soon. If not today, tomorrow.

To find out the URL for Fitch's Transition (it may be re-named on the site) go to (http://j-j-e.blogspot.com/) and click on "View My Complete Profile." Then, scroll to the bottom of the page. It will list the number of blogs I possess, the names of the blogs, and the URL. As of right now, I only have one blog. But -- as aforementioned -- I should have one today; or tomorrow.

I will give all my readers the right to post comments, instead of "Blog Members only."

I'll see you there!

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
