I met this girl in the club 5 years ago. We went for few dates but they felt more like friends meeting – we did not kiss or touch each other. She seemed very reserved. After some time this relation slowly ended. During the last five years we accidentally bumped into each other and talked for a few minutes. Things changed, or so I thought, about a month ago. I met her in the club again. She was with her friend celebrating friends birthday. Other girl was dancing with some guy and she was alone. I asked her to dance and spend about an hour with her. She seemed tired or unhappy and things were not sexual at all. I was tired of that so asked her if she wanted to meet again, she agreed and I politely ejected myself from the situation.

This time we met a few times for rollerblading and cycling. It’s quite alright but relation is friendly again. She is quite reserved and quite quiet for most of the time. Although from time to time she can tell some story for a few minutes. Because of that it was mostly me speaking to fill the silence. I felt a little bit like an idiot speaking most of the time because if she is not keeping the ball rolling I run out of things to say and talk about silly trivial things. On the other hand I was a little worried that if nothing happens then she will get bored and leave. Last time I was fed up with this and when she did not speak and I depleted the current topic I just stopped speaking. There were long silent breaks from time to time she started a new topic, sometimes I said something. But not enough to keep me engaged. If we were not inline skating but sitting in a pub I would be bored. On the other hand she observed that our meetings are quite pleasant and she responds to my invitations really well.

Because of all of that I don’t know how to understand this situation. I wanted to learn if she just needs a friend or tries to create a man to woman relationship but the situation looks like this because she is just reserved and quiet. So I asked her if she wants to go for a drink next time. She blurted something and the only thing I heard was that we should meet for a bicycle ride and we did meet.

Guys, what do you think is going on here and how should I respond to that?

Invite her to your place. Tell her that you are going to make her dinner. If she says no, then next her. She honestly sounds like she is just using you for free non sexual attention.

She hot?

If she is decent looking, play the part of a friend. Keep going out with friendly bike rides, you won't be able to fvck all women, but you got a nice acquaintance here. Even if she isn't attracted to you sexually, you can leverage her to meet other women. Maybe jealousy will trigger some action between you two, keep her in the friend zone as she is doing to you and bare those fruit OP!

What is going on here? Who knows.

What should you do? Stop with the friendly activities and invite her over to your house to cook dinner WITH you.

If she has any interest in you at all she will happily accept and ask what she can bring.

If not then you know where you stand and can stop wasting time.

I agree. Invite her to your place. That is the litmus test.

This girl is probably subtly KOKblocking you to make it impossible for you to make a move. At the same time she's showing just enough interest to continue to entice you. This is not accidental, it actually takes quite a lot of skill and experience to pull it off.

How do you get a man to go out with you, give you his time and attention but avoid him making any "unwanted" advances?

Here's how:
- Always sit/stand far away from him
- Avoid ever being alone together
- Suggest non-romantic activities
- Bring along friends and kokblockers
