Quaker use to make a corn bran cereal. You may need to check with them directly.

do a search. i think this is basically a flourlike powder that you can use in recipes. my goodness, that is a ridiculously high amount of fiber!

but i'd be interested in trying it... like if you add hot water to oat bran, it's very much like oat meal.

also, there is a quakers cereal around that you can try that is toasted corn bran. http://www.hometownfavorites.com/shop/candy_cat.asp?c=24&p=1&id=120&newp=

incidentally, why are you looking for so much (insoluble) fiber in one shot?

insoluble fiber is "roughage" that keeps you regular... moves food through your system quickly and keeps moisture in stools so that you don't get constipated.

soluble is great for helping to mop up cholesterol out of your system.

you want to have a good supply of both in your diet to be a happy camper.

Good stuff!
