so i recently put some pics up of me and instantly received alot of messages from girls and old people i know.. getting very busy.

just a few questions.

for the info is it okay if i got all boxes ticked

friendship
dating
a relationship
networking

second. i have a few pics of me with girls hugging me kissing me etc.. one of them is ugly that im sitting next to. is that okay to still have as it shows i have social life? does it matter that girls are ugly.. still makes me look good?

your over thinking the 2nd bit... one ugly girl wont matter... remove it if ur not sure

the best way to get attention on FB...is to put a really buff pic of your self...as your profile pic...Many people will notice this... i did this a year ago and ther was about 30 comments on it - some joking some "well dones", wows..etc...BUT there were people i havent talked to for years (but are FB friends with) who knew about the pic... so loads of people must have seen it!

yeah only problem with that is im not buff. lol. my profile pic is not bad .. good shot of my face with a blue wall behind me. kind of hits your eye nicely

facebook isnt good for dating... notied the amount of threads on this forum that start with "this girl on facebook..." and end badly...

use fb to keep contacts/spy on old freinds etc...(every one does this!)

meet women in person, in the real world

also put ur security setting to "freinds only" it stops people you dont know seeing you / possible employers ...etc... thers alwasy embarasing pics on fb, you want to be able to control who can see them

What the f***? I'm sorry to take out my frustrations on you, but this Facebook crap is starting to piss me off.

Are you happy with the f**king picture? Yes? Then f**king use it. It's just common sense.

Unless it's a picture that shows you blowing another dude, I really don't think anyone gives a f***. My god, people. Stop overthinking every damn thing. Better yet, go meet women in real life. Facebook isn't even a dating site for christ's sake.

Same here...remember that "less is more." I have guy friends on there with all those boxes ticked and they've been single (and admittedly desperate) for a LONG time.

yeah I wouldn't want people to have a track of when I am single and when I am not... I leave most of my info empty, I do not make plans public, I don't want people to know a lot about me, leave some mystery plus it is embarrasing if you keep the single status for too long
