I feel so tired and drained everyday after work that I usually don't have any energy left to do anything else. It usually start around Tuesdays and my productivity level hits zero on Fridays and so does my temper.

I have realized hitting the gym is never going to happen for me. I rather try to eat some fruits, one vitamin, and drink water after I come home. I am considering walking 30 mins a day, some basic yoga/ stretching and meditation every afternoon.

Is there anything else I could do that would give me a bit more energy throughout the evening so I feel refreshed and energetic?

Thanks for any suggestion.

how many hours of sleep do you get? I ussually average 6 to 7, and i feel drained at times. I go to the gym (not as much as i would like to), when i work out i feel a lot better. For my body to not feel drained i need minimum 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep.

I Dont drink energy drinks, and hope you dont either, after drinking those you become more drained.

Green tea pills and drink helped me a lot. Coupled with a good diet helpled me.

I usually hit the bed at 10:00pm and fall asleep at around 11:00 and wake up again 7:00/7:30 in the morning - so there's 7-8 hours of sleep. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night because either I feel hungry & want to eat something or I want to go to toilet. I usually take a nap for about 2 hours over the weekend (right after lunch).

Try getting up an hour early at 6:00. Sounds simple, yes. Maybe even doing a little bit of exercising/stretching/running/weightlifting/etc. Works for me. Makes me feel like I'm getting ahead of the day. Life is all about your frame of mind.

Being healthy and in shape doesn't hurt either.

Ha, welcome to the real world 8-5 rat race dude!
Is your job giving you extra stress, do you dread going to work?
Maybe it's time for a change there...

Otherwise, just get your ass up early and exercise. You'd be surprised
how quickly your body and mind will adapt. The notion of working
out in the morning used to give me chills...now I can't imagine any other way.

It could be your diet and sleep. I work 3 jobs and lift 4 days a week and cardio 3 days. If my diet starts slipping and I don't get 7-8 hours of sleep I will feel drained all day long. The funny thing is I get a boast of energy when it's time to hit the weights.
