Hey guys, lately, I've been getting full after eating snacks and small meals, and if I eat a whole regular meal, I feel completely miserable... well, not emergency miserables, but pretty freaking bad... Like bloated...

Does anyone know what this is? It's not as if I'm super skinny... in fact, I have a beer gut and have gained some weight over the past year... I just can't figure it out. Sometimes I snack almonds or pistachios and that does it...

Any ideas?

What does your activity level look like?

When I'm getting 5-10 hours of physical activity every week, I wake up with a growling stomach and if I miss a meal it lets me know.

On the other hand, when I'm fairly sedentary, I could go all day and not even think of food once.

I've had this problem recently. It's due to multiple things, wearing out mentally and physically after 3 years of going full steam almost 1000 days straight in the gym,sex at least 2 times a day with my girl, and I got 2 pups to take care of,work full time and school full time. I was just burnt out, didn't want to eat at all. Just try to eat a snack sized breakfast, then you should be hungry for a full meal 2-3 hours later. Prior to all this stuff I used to eat big meals non-stop and still snack around the clock.

I didn't feel miserable though after big meals during this, just 1 big meal would keep me happy for most of the day, something I haven't felt in years. I felt more bloated then normal but it didn't show that way though.

Good luck.

It´s a blindshot. But it might be bad digestion. Look it up on google. Research some suppliments for improving digestion. Aloevera juice, vitamin and minerals, fiber suppliments, digestive enzymes... You´ll find a wealth of information if you google it.

How is your water consumption. Do you drink milk (you might be lactose intolerant) ? Do you have an alkaline diet? Or maby it´s too acidic, wich can cause a whole host of problems (including the flu - it´s the bodys way of telling you that you are too acidic and need to take a break so that it can recuperate. The flushot? pfft, vitamin C and D and an alkaline diet will prevent the flu.)

Look up fennel tea (or make your own from crushed seeds). It's good for the digestion system if that's the problem.

Could be stress.

Damn, I wish I had this problem.

It could be stomach problems, but most likely you're just not getting enough exercise or sleep.
