What hobbies do you DJ's have.


I'm a musician, I sing and play five instruments, women love musicians, thats how I pulled the beautiful lady that I'm married to now.

So tell us, what hobbies you have and if you have ever used them to attract the opposite sex.

I'm a House/ Techno DJ. I play clubs and events. My passion for the music and it's live presentation is a seriously driving force/ focus in my life, and great social proof. My passion for it has without doubt helped me hook up. Yer right, women love musicians (although they like them even more when they've got Game, which is still a work in progress for me).

Unlike you it has not yet helped me get a wife And I'm WAY in the red. And it results in a lot of really weary work days. But when I'm rocking a crowd there's literally nothing else in the world I'd rather be doing.

Hey, I use reason's to make my beats with, have you heard of that program? More recently, i've tried fruity-loops, but haven't had as much success with it.

scuba diving. It's a fun way to escape the stress of life, but I haven't found many women at the bottom of the lake/ocean. I've gone diving with some real HBs, but in the city where I live, available women are mythical. So, I've been unsuccessful at getting women through my hobby.

I am begining to teach Martial arts

Now poker sounds like alot of fun, I'm thinking of learning that myself, and of course if you get good at it theres money to be made.

There's a real popular book out about how to make money at poker, its been around awhile, cant seem to think of the name of it right now, do you know the book i'm talking about?

I also enjoy collecting old military items like bayonets, swords, etc

Let me clarify. I live in a midwestern city with a Big Ten university in it. Yeah, party central. I even work at this university. The place is crawling with HBs. But in my cynical and jaded world view, it seems like they are all happily involved, and that the only available women are the fuglies. Who wants to score with a fugly?

Of course, if my hobby was ONS, I'd probably have little trouble getting those HBs (assuming my game was good enough), but that's never been my thing.

So, scuba diving, as a hobby, really helps me let go of such a jaded view of the world. But I'm ready to start other hobbies which will get me into contact with available HBs.

I build stuff for around my house. My friends then come over and offer to buy them from me. (I haven't let anything go yet. ;-)

Chicks dig guys who can build things, I've found. ;-)

The desk - a little over a month

The arcade machine - about 3 months

I'm pretty pleased with both.

Heh...yeah, they sure as hell do. Moreso the big names though. I'm just a local act right now. Live performance has added to my confidence level drastically over the last couple years though, which has without doubt added to my game.

As for production...I get such a rush from performance, and keep so busy as it is, I haven't done much more than dabble with Fr.Loops a bit. Sooner or later I'll crack and start cutting tracks though
