This has been on my mind lately. We ended up getting into a fight about it a couple of days ago. My fathers 56, been divorced for 10 years to my mother. He cheated on her. Now I find out hes hitting girls a little bit older then me. He has more girls that are my age, then I do(actual friends). Anyone else see a bad picture here? I know I shouldn't care and he can do what he wants but now im nervous to bring girls around him. WTF it shouldn't be like that. Sorry for the rant but I want others opinions on this.

Well he does have more experience then me, thats a given considering his age. I do ask time form time to time. We both have our own ways, but honestly all it really comes down to is being genuine. Its weird, its almost like a competition between us(goes father then just girls), my family is very competitive. Big Italian family. But still, it ****in weird's me out.

my dad and i went out a few times to clubs together... talk about a lethal combination. we play off each other well. no one believes il'm his son (he looks young), it's an instant convo starter. we've done some damage together in the past lol.

What is eating away at you, is not the fact that he's hitting on girls your age, but the fact that your father cheated on your mother. This is human nature for you to feel that way.

That's why I find it so funny when amoralist guys say: 'Oh it's cool for say Tiger, or a rich powerful man to get a little on the side.'

But when you find out it is YOUR Dad who is getting a little on the side, it pisses you off.

To the OP: the bottom line is this, you are a man, and it is your nature such that you simply CANNOT respect your father because he cheated on your mom.

Game recognizes game. And in this case, a real man can recognize other real men when he sees it. Unfortunately, your father is not a real man, that's why you cannot respect him.
