I love this stuff, ever since I went low carb (less than 100 grams a day), my energy level is up with little caffeine. I also don't get gas or feel bloated. And, it seems like I get hungry less.

The fact that our bodies only store fat, should tell us what kind of energy to consume.

Yep. I am a big fan of the keto diet.

A lot of antioxidants and various beneficial compounds in food are fat-soluble. Your body can't absorb it and benefit unless fat is present with the meal. Fat-free and low-fat salad dressings are some of the dumbest food inventions in history.

Carbs burn more powerfully. When you do max exertion you will see this. The key is to take only as much carbs as you need. The cool thing about keto is you KNOW your burning fat. But once your lean enough your athletic performance will be superior with the right amount and right kind of carbs.

I agree. When I did mma, I would drink a six-pack of beer after training each night, and I was ripped. Most fighters I knew ate garbage, because they were usually young, stupid, and poor. But it didn't really matter, given the high intensity of training. Almost everyone gets fat after they stop training because they are not used to having to put effort into their diet.

I tried no carb, it just left me feeling flat and tired all the time. I also found it really hard getting lunch without carbs. A high meat diet starts getting expensive... In my limited experience.

I am blood type O, so I do think my body hangs onto carbs like a fat kid with a cookie..

Just keep pushing. Your going to suffer but it's the fastest way to get the fat off. Once your to your desired weight or fat level consume enough carbs to power you through the day but not too much to be stored as fat.

So I think no carb or super low carb is a temporary approach. And it works.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I think the main issue is not enough good excercise. I walked for an hour this morning and did an hour of aqua jog.! When I get some decent gym shoes I will hit the gym again as well.
The woman I am seeing likes my bod but it is harder to feel sexy if you don't think it yourself.
