Okay mate, I've got a thigh injury at the moment so my cardio's restricted to the old-fashioned morning power-walk/jog.

The weather's still sweltering over here, so I'll using my gym and the treadmill on an incline with a slow pace, 30-45 minute sessions, and of course, my secret weapon, peaches from the garden. Big fat juicy ones.

I'll stick to one peach pre-cardio and a pro/carb breakfast 30+ mins or so afterwards and let you know how the fruit theory goes. The usual variables (intensity, length, post-workout nutrition) are all in place as far as I've discovered for my body, the only change is the pre-cardio food.

I'm interested to see what'll happen, and I'll surely let you know.

Cheers for the tip mate, hopefully we can put the skeptics to rest. (or in the worst case, discover that fruity cardio doesn't work after all)

i tried the fruity cardio this morning.

Definitely an energy spike... leaves me hungrier for that pro/carb meal after the walk. I was more intense throughout the walk, but found the energy to like die completely at around 25-30 minutes. (I had an orange this morning pre-walk).

Anyway... you got two guinea pigs ;)

Nice one guys

I'd be interested to hear your feedback - I found it worked for me, but it'd be nice to hear others say it too.

Go easy on that quad, Warboss, rest it up lots cos I imagine you'd go crazy and get locked up if you injured it more and couldn't squat ever again lol.

Exactly, that was in July. This is September now, Manuva's suggested something which I'd like to verify for myself. If so then yeah, I'll change my opinion and that thread will be null and void, everyone's entitled to change their mind about things like this.

Don't be so obtuse mate, there's a good fellow.
