I've always been under the assumption I have ADD. Especially when talking to women; I forget their names right away, have trouble concentrating on conversations. A great deal of the girls I end up with, didn't end up with me cause I was a great talker; more because I had charm and decent looks.

Anyways, I decided to try adderall the other day and went out to the club that night. BAM! I was so much more at ease talking to not just ladies, but people. I can usually be the life of a conversation for a minute or two, but never for a prolonged period of time. On adderall, I was the center of attention the whole time, and as you could imagine I was getting more looks than ever.

So my question is, has anyone ever noticed this when starting up a medication like adderall?

sorry, i don't have an answer to your question wc2 but maybe you or others can help answer mine.

i have a question about adderall and other medications similar to it. when my supervisor instructs me to do something, i often times have to ask her to repeat the instructions again. if i have to learn new duties and tasks, i'm a lot slower than other people. it takes me more time to learn things. in the future, when i start working at new companies, i want to be able to learn duties and tasks quickly. i want future supervisors and bosses to be able to tell me something once and i'll understand their instructions clearly the first time around; rather than asking them to repeat instructions. will medications like adderall help me achieve that?

Adderall will make almost anyone seem more motivated, energetic and social. It's basically minor league coke.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

It only works if you actually have ADD, otherwise it'll just make you extremely hyper. I use Adderall and instead of my mind randomly racing around, it slows everything down and my thought process becomes very deliberate.

Adderall is speed (literally) but it is also very chemically similar to both cocaine and meth, and its effects are also similar. When abused, it can cause brain damage like meth, too. Ritalin has less of a chance of causing brain damage, but it is harder on your system and is similar to cocaine when coming down. So Adderall is like minor-league meth and Ritalin is like minor-league coke...with prescriptions, their effects will be identical, though (but coming down from Ritalin sucks ass compared to Adderall).

But yeah, if you can't even hold a conversation then you might want to look into a prescription.
