I put up quite a bit of post on this one girl who i said i had developed oneitis for and I even put up a post earlier today about her and my supposed boy. Well, apparently, today he just said they are now going. Needless to say, i feel like the crap of the deepest anus. Another failure. This is precisely why, I never say I like a girl. Everytime I like a girl, something likethis happens and it is usually done by one of my supposed boys. Right now, im even considering whether I even want to stay friends with her or break up all ties. Say w/e u feel like. doesnt matter to me anymore

Keep your head up man! Find out from HER if they are or not (Guys our age like to stretch the truth to things to make music in OUR ears). If it's true, start over with another girl. DO NOT fall into AFC. Stop talking to her cold turkey, I did with my target and she broke silence today after 2 weeks. When she does initiate, act cool and reply in a relaxed time frame.

Hrm. Oneitis indeed. you got to realize there are other girls out there. Fresh fish in the sea. If your really willing though, and you want to learn the full story, do what J Bay Bay recommended. Figure out yourself by asking her. Don't get weighed down by this, you gotta learn to get up, dust yourself off and move on.

Anyhow, you got to be more quicker, the minute you feel attracted to a girl, don't just sit there and fantasize about her, make it a reality! You don't have to tell her you like her, you show her! Theres enough material on this site that will help you develop that trait.

You're 17 buddy. We've all been rejected at some time in our lives. The fact that you're here at 17 is something you should be feel lucky about. There are guys in the mature forum who went through divorces and sh!t before they started learning from their mistakes.

So just try and remember that success takes time. Whenever you feel frustrated just do your best to place your situation in a larger context. Know that unlike your "friend" and your oneitis, YOU are improving yourself. YOU are growing and learning. Right now you should be focused on making friends and enjoying your high school years. Hit the gym, play sports, do your thing.

Don't worry about telling or showing girls that you "like" them. Just make friends. High school is a great time to improve your social skills and become more comfortable just TALKING to girls. One of the things i regret is not pushing myself to be more social and not pushing my social boundaries in high school enough.

Don't think being friends with girls is a bad thing. Don't let them use you or anything like that but you'd be surprised how friends and acquaintances can come back into the picture later in life. This summer i randomly texted an acquaintance from high school and since then we've been on 2 dates and i got a kiss close. I only wish i had made more acquaintances in high school so i could have an even bigger network of people i could randomly text and possibly hit it off with.

You shouldn't concern yourself too much with "success" and "failure" in the dating world in high school. Make friends, grow, mature, learn and most importantly have fun. The biggest thing you need to learn is how to keep a positive outlook on life even when little bumps like this come your way.

Damn, Deep Vegas. Thats 100% correct. Keep girls as friends just not to many then rumors about you batting for the other team comes in. I have been friends with this girl for about 7 years and she just suddenly comes up to me and jumps in my arms and kisses me ha ha so being there for a girl when she needed it WILL pay off.
