Suddenly feeling all depressed and lost right now. Just a random wave stuck me, I am a confused person with no direction in my life.
I wanted to improve this PUA stuff but progress is way to slow for me. Over the last 6 months i've improved my social skills so much but its bringing me nothing. I still cannot just get out there and talk to anyone I want and be this 'alpha'

I am sure someone has been through a similar situation and can help me out.

You remind me of myself. It seems progress is a lot slower at first.

Just remember that depression isn't real. It's all in your head. The sooner you realize that you are making yourself feel like sh1t by focusing on the negative and start only thinking positive, the better off you'll be. Make the firm decision to let the negative energy go.

It would definitely help to have an idea of what your goals are too. Very important for progress.

Yup. Depression comes and goes.

scudge is right, it is all in your head. What made this week worse than last week, when you weren't feeling this bad?

I'm at a much better place in terms of my skills than I was 2 years ago. Sophomore year I had awful depression. I buried myself in ceramics, my art, and I wasn't even happy with the things I was making. Now that I can see my pieces now, and the progress I made, it amazes me what time can do.

In terms of women, I'm still not at a place where I'm content, but that's GOOD. You'll have your entire life to be good with women, and once you reach a certain age you'll tire of it, and settle down. Learning how is the hardest stage of any part of your life, especially this one. I'm sorry that it's weighing on you. But one day, you'll know how it works, and it won't hurt, but something else might.

Remember, as with all things, even positives, this too will pass.

One day down the line, you'll wake up, see where you are, and say "Wow. I earned this."

Do you weightlift? If you don't, you should. It definitely helps my mood, helps me think clearly.

Find a goal. Keep to it.
