This is kind of a weird question

I'm looking to take up some kind of daily facial muscle exercise to become a friendlier more 'expressive' person in my daily life. I've fallen into routines since I work from 10am to 11pm at night 5 days a week. I woman came up to me and told me at my job "You know, you should definitely smile more. A person as handsome as yourself should not walk around looking so serious." This really embarrased me. I'm looking for maybe some kind of a streching exercise or something that will loosen me up aswell as strengthen the muscles. Another consequence of this constant facial tension is mumbling when I talk cus my mouth is so stiff

One exercise I'm starting is when a hold a huge smile for 5 minutes every morning. Can anyone recommend any other ones.

There aren't really any exercises for your face, man... lol. Except for isometric ones, I suppose. But you know what? I think a good facial massage will loosen you up more than having a "muscular" smile will.

One more thing. The problem may not be physical at all; it might just be that you don't have as friendly and cheery a mindset as you could. Try to have more fun in your daily routine and find laugher in small things! 'Cause people can always tell when you're faking a smile, bro.

I heard from this news channel that if you chew a lot of gums(like maybe more than 5 at once i guess), your jaw will look stronger and slimmer.

You don't need a workout to smile more. It's called be happy. Learn to enjoy stuff. SMILE

It's not tough.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Look up stuff by Jack Lalanne. I used to watch his show on ESPN Classic everyday, he give great exercises, and he also has done facial exercises, that I do and they help. They are kinda hard to describe without you seeing them so I suggest you try and find some Jack Lalanne clips. If you cant find them, tell me and I'll try my best to type out some descriptions for you.

Although like Staz said you don't need an exercise to smile more, just make your life better and be happy and it will come naturally.

I know. But I was also thinking maybe I could affect my mood from this angle. Like how they tell you improving your body language improves your overall sense of self. I don't consider myself 'faking' anything because a happy person is what I truly want to be.

Like I said, I'm already doing that.
