have you ever added someone on facebook/ myspace and talked to them, but when you saw them at school, you didn't talk to them, or they didn't talk to you?

What about when they add you, but don't talk to you in person? Anyone experience this?

While you should intiate. If your trying to build attraction and they invest in you a bit then they are going to talk to you. But you cant have a quikc bit of small talk online then ravishing convo in rea life, unless you initate it.

All the time. Sometimes my fault, sometimes theirs.

With girls, they usually are the ones to avoid you after adding them and talking to them, if they're the normal kind, and not the social/cool kind. All you have to do with them though is go up to them and talk to them first. Never been rejected doing this... Though I don't know how well it would go if your conversation went badly.

I have screwed up so many times in the past like this, I will be awesome at talking to girls online, but I was too scared to talk to them in person, and they lose interest because of this, and of my lack to make a move.
